If your argument is "CHNOPS and Sean are liars and they're on Side B so I'll take Side A" - well, again, with all due respect, IMO that's not a good reason to take a side. Neither is "I don't like Reci's posts so I'll bag on her", or "Her husband and I argued about politics once so I'm going to call her a pedo" or "My friends don't like her so I'm going to post she's a criminal", etc.

I've no dog in this fight. If you wanna argue with Sean and CHNOPS and whoever, I couldn't care less. But the possible assholery of CHNOPS and Sean are not the topic at hand. It's a non sequitur. It's like popping into the thread and saying, "Yeah, but Obama's an asshole". That's my point.

Saying that people are supporting me because they like me is doing some skewed math. About maybe seven people have posted even tacit approval of me in any way. Most people I assume are either letting me hash it out or deciding not to get their shoes dirty. To which I say good for you, that indicates intelligence. I don't expect a phalanx of support because I didn't earn it and I didn't ask for it and most people would be right in thinking I don't need their help.

Saying that people are supporting bg23 because they like her is a bit more in keeping with reality and the math. Try to count how many did that and why and where they got their source impression. It is not irrelevant to the idea that regardless of what I did, this was a tag team of ridiculous proportions.

With all due respect, I don't really care the number of supporters on each side is equal. That's not my point at all. I didn't take a tally of who is on what side because to be honest I really couldn't care less. Even if someone gave me chocolate or paid me a dollar.

This is drama. This is the Internet. I take everything I read on the Internet with a grain of salt. I love you all equally until I actually meet you. That's when you become real to me. Until then, I'm just not invested.

My point is this: all of those who support a side of an argument based on the people involved instead of the facts of the argument - regardless of the side they take - are equally wrong.
