I look up whether or not an squid has a certain name, that doesn't mean I'm losing sleep about squid. Oh, actually I'm just admitting I'm wrong.

I thought she was (as she said) not part of any group that was supporting you and was independently coming to all her conclusions on her own.

I'm not ranting, I'm observing and pointing out I was mistaken about my assessment of someone's character and motives.

She supports you wholly and full-throatedly. Just not here. We wouldn't want to give the impression of high-fiving and gloating over perceived wins if it would make it look like you guys were tag teaming. That simply wouldn't do.

So, I was wrong. I gave quite a few people credit for just being concerned citizens. Some were, some weren't.

I felt kinda bad for going off on her. Now I don't. Now I'm grateful I went with my gut impression.

I'm reassessing board politics and groups based on the relative integrity of individuals regarding subjects that the group forms opinions on based on their behavior versus the spoken word versus the actions of others around them in response, versus spoken word in different meta space.

In short, I give Lorelei less credit for having an individual set of ethics and standards than I did yesterday.

I'm right or I'm wrong. If you want to present absolutely nothing to the conversation other than "Yeah, bg23, she's crazy!" then...you'll forgive me if I do some more laughing.

Thanks. I'm certainly not a hero, I'm just trying to figure out the shape of things and the how and why.

The original subject to me is mostly irrelevant other than in really provoking an allergic reaction in some people and checking everyone for identical described symptoms.
