i am in the process of submitting an erotic anthology called, "Yoni Footfalls." Currently I have submitted a Prologue, Chapter 1, "Where Do I Go from Here? which is followed by Chapter 2, its continuation. Chapter 3 is named "Rites of Conquest.

All of these stories are intended to display female sexulality in all its glory. I would appreciate any feed back regarding these postings. I am also preparing the next chapter which is called "The Dance" another 2 part story;.

As I said i appreciate feed back and I will answer any and all questions also don't be afraid to criticize as the worst thing that will happen is basically nothing. Except the analysis of the criticism of course.

Thank you so much for your comments in advance I hope the stories are appreciated.

Not much chance anyone's going to sit with bated breath and look every day for them to post. When they post, repeat the request and include a link.

Why would anyone go look on the basis of "I'm in the process of submitting . . . ?"

You only looked to pursue your bottom-feeding agenda, LC. If you're so energetic, where's your comment on the stories? You don't do any of that; several of the rest of us do. Just a bag of self-serving, backbiting wind.

No agenda necessary. Everyone here knows what an asshole you are.

It was the person's first post meaning they have no idea how things work here and they get greeted with two snotty remarks from a couple of smart mouthed asshats.

People wonder why there's not too many new people here.

Pot meets kettle or it takes one to know one.

as promised

Well i said i would respond. Well here it is. I totally appreciate the response and feedback although it would have been far more appropriate for those respondants to throw their comments at each other instead of me. *smile,

I apologize I didn't know that I needed to include links and I'm also sorry that saying I am posting and posting the titles to the three that i have posted would create such confusion.

As to the bated breath comment are you sure it is not ''baited'' ?

thank you very much you all, i will continue posting and hope that someone likes the stories rather than ask for a political discussion regarding anything in this forum.

Take care and have a nice day.

No, I meant bated. And I still think that "process of submitting" means they haven't been thrown into the Literotica submission queue yet.

An old internet practice dating back to dial-up ISPs and bulletin boards is, unfortunately, not often practiced in these social media rich days.

Then, it was common practice to lurk in silence on a new bulletin board, usenet newsgroup, or whatever, in order to familiarize yourself with the overall tenor of the BB/NG, identify and note the major and minor players therein, and identify their pet quirks/peeves. That lurking prevented a lot of missteps once you started actively joining in on the online discussions.

[Re: pet quirks/peeves. In case you hadn't noticed, the Literotica forums are awash in them. ;)]

oh puhleez

No, I meant bated. And I still think that "process of submitting" means they haven't been thrown into the Literotica submission queue yet.

process means there are more than the 4 i listed and haven't been submitted yet. but is not referring to the 4 that had been delineated with their titles etc

anyway do you have anything constructive? if not have a nice day!

The receiver, not the giver, determines whether the intended meaning was conveyed.

If you'd read my profile and file here, you'd probably have figured out I maybe do have constructive help for you--or did--once you'd made yourself clear in the context in which we work here.

It is constructive to try to guide you to how to make connections here that can be understood. Best of luck with your journey and you all have a nice day, too, ya hear.

I did take the time and effort to try to answer your need within the context that you were making yourself understood. It's not at all uncommon for folks to shoot feedback questions before having something posted within the Literotca system. Your wording clearly put you in that realm to anyone here reading a lot of these requests. And it was you asking for help, not me. I could have just let you hang--like I'm now going to do.

Well, you have a 752 word prologue posted in novels and novellas, which is strange, but that might just be me.

I read both stories under Yoni, but for the life of me I can't see how they are related in any way at all.

Not to be mean, but there's nothing there, its not a story, its more like a snippet taken from a story. It needs an arc, or at least a hint at one. As it is, it just leaves you flat, with no reason to return for more.

response

very good points all the way around i wrote the prologue as a device to introduce the anthology of short stories as to how the two stories are connected i don't see how you cant see the connection there is a clear part one and a clear part two with our character moving from an encounter in a shower room to an encounter the next day at the other woman's domicile so i don't know how you can' t see that...

i will admit this is mostly my fault i wasn't sure if i was going to place the entire anthology here until after posting Where do I Go From Here chapter one and chapter two so while i have mangled up the whole intent of the anthology i would hope that the readers can for now just continue reading until i can get this whole mess organized the way its supposed to be lol

thanks for your post

You don't. You usually start with, "I haven't done you the courtesy of reading your story but I can tell you it is crap" or "from the first two paragraphs I just clicked back". But you still pontificate from some sort of belief you are above criticism. Your knowledge maybe but your writing not.

I have to agree with Catchalot. I read Ch 2 of "Where do I go..." and there just didn't seem to be much there. There was a lot of repetition, I felt, as the woman went on about her life and situation where one statement of each fact would have served. The verb tense switched from present to past and back, which is distracting.

I wish you luck with it but I had no desire to read more.

Just for the record, I have never, ever, done that. One of the burrs under your saddle is how frequently I've told posters that your guidance was loony tunes and to just keep what they were doing. I think you've mixed me up with your long-ago partner in "let's pretend we know this stuff more than the poster does" slime, Jenny J.

You really must have a rotten life, Elfin, to keep hanging onto this place by your fingernails just to razz me with ridiculously false information that invariably someone comes along and knocks you down on.

In this instance, I provided standard advice here--you need to have something on Literotica to base feedback on and you should provide a link to it in the request. My interpretation of the OP was that the works weren't on Literotica yet ("in the process of submitting") and no links to anything were provided. It's the OP who is asking for a time-consuming favor.

I'll point out that neither you nor LC gave any help to the OP whatsoever--you just hijacked the poster's thread to rag on me.

You're a drone here, Elfin. A crazy one at that. You haven't contributed anything but mostly off-the-beam opinion and razzing for seven years.

Anthology
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search
For other uses, see Anthology (disambiguation).

An anthology is a collection of literary works chosen by the compiler. It may be a collection of poems, short stories, plays, songs, or excerpts. In genre fiction anthology is used to categorize collections of shorter works such as short stories and short novels, usually collected into a single volume for publication.

The complete collections of works are often called Complete Works or Opera Omnia (Latin language equivalent).

That's true, except that there's no category for anthologies at Literotica. So, it's naturally going to be confusing if you try to plug that square peg into one of the round holes here.

A lot of the stories I have at Literotica are combined into anthologies--but elsewhere (the marketplace) because it's not a mode covered in the Literotica system.

We could have discussed your dilemma here in this regard--I've tried to fit such collections into the Literotica system in various ways--if you'd made an effort to fit into the realm of understanding here from the aspect that you were the one asking for the help--and if a few of the other posters hadn't hijacked the thread for their own purposes.

Okay, so I completely missed two of your stories, because they don't have Yani in the titles. If you want readers to actually read these in order, you need to put them in the order you want them read.

Yani Footfalls Ch.01 (prologue)
Yani Footfalls Ch.02 (Where do I go from here Chapter 1)
Yani Footfalls Ch.03 (Where do I go from here Chapter 2)
Yani Footfalls Ch.04 (Rites of Conquest)

The way you have them now, it looks like "Yani Footfalls" is only two stories.

Which then is a serial novel, not an anthology. (With a serial novel requirement a lot closer connection in the material than an anthology does.)
