Best song from the 60s

The Boxer, Simon & Garfunkel
Sunshine of Your Love, Cream
Gimme Shelter, Rolling Stones

Fuck, I can't do this.

Agree about Dylan's The Times They Are A'Changin. And to me CCR's Fortunate Son was the ultimate Viet Nam song (though honorable mention to Country Joe and the Fish's Feel Like I'm Fixin to Die Rag). And sorry but my list will always include Beatles songs, A Day in the Life and Revolution are two that say sixties to me. As does Aretha Franklin's Respect, James Brown's I Feel Good, The Band's The Weight and I could go on and on.

One that I really love is Hendrix's Little Wing.

Hey what about Moby Grape? They wrote some great songs.

I saw Jefferson Airplane do this song with a crowd of thousands in Sheep Meadow, Central Park and it felt like a revolution.

Trying to answer this question is like eating potato chips--hard to stop.

How about some country:

Ode to Billie Joe
Harper Valley PTA
In the Ghetto
Wolverton Mountain
Ring of Fire
Folsom Prison Blues
Kaw Liga
