6-year-old boy among 13 shot since Friday afternoon

A 6-year-old boy riding in a car with his mom was shot on the West Side overnight, according to police, the boy among at least 14 people shot, two fatally, since Friday afternoon across the city.

The boy suffered a graze wound to the shoulder and his condition was stabilized when he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. He was in a car with his mother about 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 4200 block of West Wilcox Street in the West Garfield Park neighborhood when someone started shooting.

He is the sixth child age 7 or younger shot in Chicago since June 30.

Over 50% of the national murder rate is black on black crime. As Cosby said years ago, "It isn't the white man, look within." But it's a lot more convenient to blame others for your ignorance and prejudice.

Look at Trayvon's GF. Just how can anyone be more ignorant? Just how can anyone attempt to rewrite Webster to such an extent? How can there be any communication between two cultures when one can no longer speak the language of the land?

I don't want to understand their jargon. Like the Gullah they can slip into the backwaters of history and become as quaint as they are ignorant. At least the Gullah came by it honestly.

Well it's just a city. The stats show that states have better luck with it and even that's a minor miracle on the East Coast where you're never more than thirty minutes away from two different states.

Why are you so fucking stupid box? Quoting is not difficult but like many things if you can't do it properly don't try.

And while I've never driven it you're probably right that Miami residents would have a bit of a trek to next state. Which still doesn't even begin to make up for the fact that most of the east coast is within easy driving distance of another state. We don't have any border enforcement between states so laws don't really do as much as they could in a more controlled situation.
