I would like to transfer old VHS tapes to DVDs. Does anyone have recommendations for programs to do this?

Not a pirate but sometimes you have stuff that you want to preserve.

I've heard some very good things about Deluxe 3.0 (here's a youtube link) and many stores, such as Staples, sells VHS-DVD machines, which may be worth your while to purchase.

Costco also has a service that transfer VHS to DVDs. Also, google 'transferring VHS to DVD *hometown*' and you should get a list of companies who offer these types of services.
