It is made from hand melted/softened glass, hand formed and hand shaped by one or more glass artists. My wife also works in melted glass and has seen the pic before, she says it was made by a guy who was a student of Dale Chihuly who is a world famous glass artist who lives and works in the Seattle area.

If you want it I suggest you bring money, lots of money and for gawds sake don't drop it. (LOL)

It is damn impressive isn't it.

That is really beautiful. I wouldn't use the pink light, personally, but I'd love to see it with a blue light.

None of them cheap but the idea is easier to copy than with the glass one. Unfortunately not nearly as cool, but still.
