Okay where do I start with this shit sandwich... You're not "getting Obamacare". If you want to buy an individual plan like you are now, there's nothing stopping you. Your cost isn't going to jump up to 13k. Nothing will change for your family.

But you get a choice! Keep what you have now or shop around at an exchange and use your subsidy. You can compare what you have to the exchange plan figure and go with whatever one looks best for you.




Because without the mandate insurance costs would go through the roof. The entire plan wouldn't work without incurring a large deficit and causing private insurance rates on everyone to rise tremendously.



Taxpayers are spending money on you no matter what. I'm pretty sure you're not paying private school tuition for all four of your kids and that you don't pay for a private fire department. And you will not be paying more because the primary funding for Obamacare is through a .9% Medicare tax increase that's way above your pay grade. No matter how you slice it, you're going to pay less under Obamacare. You don't want to believe that so you lie to yourself and deny reality.

Religious beliefs are EXACTLY what I am talking about. You make fun of the fact that my political views are directly tied to my religious beliefs.

That is why I suggested to just agree to disagree. My views are not ever-changing as are the morals and views of this world. I am very grounded in what matters and how I live my life in accordance with those beliefs. I am not perfect (mentioned that before).....never will be (mentioned that before also)....but I will not change who God is and what He says is right and wrong.....no matter how many polls are taken, how many bills are passed, how many people sue for being offended, how many take cases to the Supreme Court.

I won't break the law (government).....but I will not sit back for the sake of Political Correctness and just "accept" things that fly directly in the face of God.

Why is it not ok that in this great new healthcare that we are all demanded to purchase....that there might...just might be some of it that is going to cause great problems for many.

Perhaps...just perhaps, there will be people that die because this new system fails them........that this new system really does decide who can and cannot get medical care based on their ability to be able to be productive in life. (I know you hate that part....but what would you do if that really came to pass?).

It is a very scary thing to think the government, who cannot even pass, let alone maintain a balanced budget, is in charge of care that can keep people alive!

3) "There may be facts but belief is more important than facts when it comes to seeing what's in a law"

4) "It's all about my religion so no understanding of the topic is required"

5) "When trying to figure out what health care reform is, there's no need to try to learn anything. Uninformed or misinformed opinions are just as valid as facts"

Currently scads of people die unnecessarily because of lack of preventative care, lack of access to general or specific medical care, and lack of access to drugs. The new system isn't perfect by any means but this problem is greatly reduced.

No the opposite is true. You're thinking of the old system.

The new system "decides" that virtually everyone gets medical care regardless as to their ability to be productive.
