Catching a Glimpse

Thank goodness Lit is back and well... Looking forward to catching up with all the sexy people who posted yesterday before we went into blackout status!

I hope everyone faired well through the storm here on the Eastcoast, if you were in its path. For me, preparation was a good thing, but unneeded in the end. :)

Glad to see you are alright darlin! We had storms that shook the house and flooding that shut us into town. But all in all we faired very well. I am always prepared for this sort of thing being that we are mountain folk. ;)

Yes, us New Englanders(and those very close by) who come from rural areas sure know how to batten down the hatches- and throw a Wicked Party! Glad you're safe- and looking incredibly sexy in the heels and crop pics!:heart:

I've had a few favorite Halloween costumes.

I've dressed up as a Catholic school girl. The little skirt was so tiny and left little to the imagination. That was fun...

I dressed as Clint Eastwood from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Spurs and everything. That was a huge hit with the ladies.

I have also dressed as a UPS driver for an adult party. I cut a hole in the side of a box so that I could slip my package into the package. I then attached the box to my belt so that I wouldn't have to hold it. I filled the box full of candy. When women would ask what was in the box, I would tell them there was candy and a special surprise. I had a few women really enjoy digging around and finding the surprise. I enjoyed it too...:devil:

Thirdly, sounds like you and Mr. WyldeSyde have had awesome costumes. My parents always bought mine. Nothing was ever homemade. My favorite as a child/young adult was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. I made my own ruby slippers. As an adult my pirate costume was a hit. I also went as a flashing hula dancer one year, that was a hit as well :)

And very creative on the UPS costume. I was just craving a piece of candy, I think you should recreate that one!

it seems my best costume days were in intermediate school ... one year as one of a pair of dice (a box from a new washing machine if memory serves correctly), another as a viking ... it has been rather down-hill since!
