Good evening. The ectoplasms tell me that there are 116 stories in the competition to date, with an average score of 4.05 from an average of 151 votes. Stories had an average of 16,186 views, an average of 5 favorites, and an average of 6 comments. The average ratio of votes to views is 1.07%. The average number of pages is 3.0, with the longest story being 15 pages.

So far there have been a total of 17,542 votes, 1,877,670 views, 679 favorites and 751 comments.

The standard deviation of scores (from the average of 4.05) is 0.48 and the standard deviation of votes (from the average of 151) is 163. The median score is 4.09, the median number of votes is 86 and the median number of pages is 2. The top 25% of scores are 4.40 or above and the bottom 25% of scores are 3.81 or below.

Sweeps

Had a good day today. An editor offered to edit my last story that is four chapters long, over 22,000 words. (not a contest entry) Made me happy and I wrote a half of a story for the contest. Might submit it if I get it finished in time. I can usually write a short story in one or two sittings.

I'll need to get it edited, when finished. Just a story off the top of my head. Nothing for anyone to worry about. Just like being part of the contest. Haven't missed one since 2005.

Good evening. The technocrats tell me that there are 134 stories in the competition to date, with an average score of 4.07 from an average of 159 votes. Stories had an average of 16,529 views, an average of 5 favorites, and an average of 6 comments. The average ratio of votes to views is 1.04%. The average number of pages is 2.9, with the longest story being 15 pages.
