The following is post # 1061 on the a.i.r. contest support thread. He also posted exactly the same thing in posts #1001, 1004, 1008, 1010, 1012, 1015, 1022, 1024, 1026, 1030, 1034, 1044, 1046, 1051, 1055 and now 1061. The same post EIGHT times on the other page. FIVE on the next page! Now he’s up to THREE on the third page! The same post 16 times. He's now up to 229 times posting the same thing (unless I’ve missed a few). Mind you this isn't a record for him.

Good evening. The dolphins tell me that there are 116 stories in the competition to date, with an average score of 4.06 from an average of 151 votes. Stories had an average of 14,683 views, an average of 5 favorites, and an average of 6 comments. The average ratio of votes to views is 1.09%. The average number of pages is 3.0, with the longest story being 15 pages.

So far there have been a total of 16,224 votes, 1,703,336 views, 633 favorites and 747 comments.

The standard deviation of scores (from the average of 4.06) is 0.50 and the standard deviation of votes (from the average of 151) is 164. The median score is 4.08, the median number of votes is 84 and the median number of pages is 2. The top 25% of scores are 4.40 or above and the bottom 25% of scores are 3.83 or below.

Sweeps

Some votes have been reduced (swept) since the start of the competition. A total of 18 stories have had their votes adjusted, with 16 sweeps resulting in a new score that day which is higher than before and 5 sweeps resulting in a new score that day which is lower. There were a total of 83 votes swept, being an average of 4 per swept story. The maximum number of votes swept for a single story was 20. So after initially thinking I was going to sit this one out I think I can slip one in by tomorrow night.

I'm really only tossing this out there to see if people will get that its a bit of a "trick or treat" or if the incest "purists" will flame me as the story is sort of incest, but sort of not incest.

No offense to you or anyone else that writes in that category (to each their own) but I'm still new enough around here that the concept of "incest purists" is kind of mind-boggling.

In a nutshell, its like any other category, there are expectations. Say you're into lesbian, but there's a guy involved with the two women, you;re a little put off.

Incest purists want "keeping it in the family" and this site delivers that so they are accustomed to getting it.

Throw a step-mother in there and the purists are flaming your ass.

What happens in this story is a mother passes in a car accident(the father had already passed previously) and the son, who was in love with her never confessed his feelings and a year later its still eating him up.

he has a cute little friend who has the hots for him and is an amateur medium. She talks him into a seance and she ends up possessed by the mother who grants her sons wish and they have sex.

The thing is technically he is sleeping with the body of the medium. So even though the "Oh, mom" dialogue is there its not really his mother.

So curious to see the reaction to this. Might go over as being in the spirit of the season(pardon the pun) or I might get some serious trolling.
