Liberal professors admit to openly discriminating against conservative peers

Serious questions don't belong on Literotica, obviously there is no respect nor acceptance of such, and never will be. I thought better of you... till now.

And the ad hominem begins when invincible ignorance fails.

Does this mean my work won't be getting published in the New England Journal of Big Babyism and Whining Victimology?

No it just means that 99% of Literoticans are hypertolerant. 100% of those who did not bitch - 1% who did gives you the number. 4% margin of error in the polling data.

asshat posting if there ever was one... back to bed, honey!

Back to the subject at hand... there is a conversation going, as the OP, that there is discrimination against conservatives in academia... and some articles have been posted as discussion material. I think, as one who has experienced this same kind of attack first hand, that it is a problem, and one day it will be addresses, as it diminishes us all when there are valuable contributions dismisssed due to agenda laden ignorance. Nuff said!

I tried to help you out of the whole you were digging by showing where your 95% came from and this is the thank you I receive? Such ingratitude.

The hostility toward conservatives makes for a far more hostile work environment, which is not the same thing as being less interested in academics as a career

Dude, try to apply some common sense here. How many young conservatives do you know who are interested in the liberal arts? I knew lots of righties in college--this was the height of Reaganmania--but they were all in business or accounting or the like, and people who major in those things go to college as a prelude to making money. There were a few pre-law types in Poli Sci who were conservative, and of course there were plenty of apolitical majors in drinking and partying (possibly the majority).

The idea that kids are converted to liberalism in college en masse, or that conservatives are being blackballed from American universities, is just more of your side's victim complex.

Translation:

I stand by my article and if you do not agree with me you are an agenda driven liberal.

the facts of the matter betray the lies at the heart of your response... workplace hostility is a factor addressessed in most pursuits, and it needs more inspection and resolution in academia... it is a disgrace.

Oh noes. She changed the wording without editing the whole post!

You're simply not up to such a topic... better stick to the topics of fucking and sucking that you understand and for which you are an SME

Well known for her blowjobs, is our k.

He said, "sucking that you understand," which would definitely not be blowjobs as you are thinking of blowjobs. Were he able to write properly, he would have said, "fucking and sucking, which you understand and . . .".

Nearly all my decisions to stop corresponding with individuals (or their alts) has been due to 'quote hacking', but I am discontinuing my correspondence with you for both your spoken support of the practice (and or disbelief in the existence of it in light of the fact) earlier in this exchange, but moreso for the fact that you are simply a dimmer light in the universe of discussion. All the posts I have gotten from you have simply been 'me too' posts for others, and adding an insult or too just to stay involved. If I wish to exchange ideas with others, I need to know those others have ideas to exchange. Just not enough to you of value to make for a reason to stay in touch....

Gosh, I wish I was in Mensa.

I thought it was rather well-known that Republicans were more likely to have university degrees, so if there's any secret indoctrination going on, it's not very effective. Typical liberal, amirite? Too busy murdering babies and getting gay married and levying tea tariffs to follow through on their own conspiracy plot.

You're right, though. Workplace hostility IS a bad thing, no matter what. I would hate to see a perfectly capable conservative professor feel bullied out of a job. Perhaps we should establish some sort of federal tax-dollar-funded department or enact a piece of legislation to protect the employment rights of people of all sorts of different ideological stripes and colours.

When we're equal, everyone wins! That's what conservatism is all about.

Current laws and an over abundance of government agencies aren't the answer, it's simply getting the present university faculty to fucking do their jobs in educating kids and hiring faculty without prejudice. Universities should be scrutinized by those who are paying their wages, and shitcanned when they fail to measure up.
