Nader would be best but it's realistically down to Romney or Obama and with that choice it's got to be Obama. What we really need is an open political system that allows other parties to compete. There are currently too many loopholes and financial difficulties in getting any third or fourth party on the ballot, even for local offices. Libertarian, Tea Party, Green, Constitution, Communist, Socialist,, etc etc. There are plenty of alternatives all ready to jump in the mix.

Of course he couldn't win, now or in 2000, but this thread isn't about who could win, it's about who we'd like to have as POTUS. And Nader is too old for the job, now.

You said you would'nt vote for him because of his age. It sounded like you belived he would'nt be healthy enough to assume office after you voted for him.
Nobody that old should be POTUS. Going by our experience with Reagan, it ain't worth the risk.

Well you could say no one as dumb as bush should be allowed to President, but It would be just as unconstitutional.

We're talking about voting preferences, not constitutional qualifications.

Iran is a totaly different issue their armed forces is pretty strong, plus they have China and Russia backing them through UN veto's.
