When is it wank fodder?

It is also hoped people who are seriously seeking answers to specific questions they may have, will feel comfortable in putting those questions to the forum for feedback. It may be difficult at times to put yourself out there, you may feel it is an irrelevant question to others, but please be assured, if you are asking it someone else is likely to also be seeking the same. You will find most on the forum will treat the questions seriously and offer to share their experiences.....respect those experiences may not always provide the answer you would hope for, nor may they mirror your own, but are usually a response in good faith. It is also asked people do not feel they are not welcome because they do not have enough experience, or the 'right' experience. We all had to start somewhere, we are all at various stages of our own journey....some of those journeys will share a lot of similarities, others will not.

I don't post here very often anymore, but I still enjoy lurking and reading up on the threads. I find it hard to get through a discussion, when snark runs wild and threads are often derailed by 'regular' posters who claim to have been offended by people asking questions.

So my question is, when is it wank fodder, and when is it a question? Is it the amount of description or the level at which one writes? If you are a repeat offender with nothing to add, why do you even bother posting?

The main thing I look for in a post that tells me it's wank fodder is if the question asked has been asked a million times, like 'do you shave' or the question is personal like 'what are your fantasies'. Just because we hang out in adult forum, doesn't mean that new people don't have to be polite. If you wouldn't ask a stranger at the library that question, don't ask strangers on a forum it either.

If you've been around enough, you can tell pretty much by the way the subject is broached. It's like obscenity--it's complicated to explain, but I know it when I see it.

Also, most wank fodder requests come from people who rarely or never post on this forum (or at all). That's not to say that all new posters are looking for wank fodder, just that that's where most of the obvious wanking threads come from.

Most trolling crap is presented in the form of damsel in distress on this board, and people generally lick it up at least half the time.

Lord, I understand that feeling. I actually don't take calls all that often anymore. I don't have freaking time. But I think dealing with people who want you to write their blogs and SEO their sites when they don't know their ass from a hole in the ground is just as bad. My opinion on this question is I don't care which it is. If someone wanks off to something I write I couldn't care less. (I rather not be told about it and if I am I will simply ignore it, but I don't care.) I also post pictures (on Fet, not here) If I found out that nobody ever wanked off to them I would be a bit disappointed. I don't post pictures or say what I say for the purpose of providing wank fodder but if it happens, so be it.

If someone thinks their answers to a question are being used just for wanking then don't answer the question..move along. I rather err on the side that the person has a legitimate question and I answer it if I want to.


Life is way to freakin' short to worry if someone somewhere is bustin a nut over something I say or a picture I post.
