No, not the porno film, the actual hurricane, and it's not so much a hurricane as a tropical storm:
The outer bands of Tropical Storm Debby lashed Florida on Sunday, spawning two apparent tornadoes in the central part of the state that killed one woman, a county spokeswoman said....The slowly moving center of Debby remains in the Gulf of Mexico, though it's already pounding the region with torrential rain in addition to the perilous winds.
Will all Florida AH folk--and those in states which might be hit by Debby, please check in and let us know you're alive and well. And yes, check in whether you're getting hit by hurricane or porn star.

You have me on ignore, asshat.

Here in Schlubville we got 18 inches of rain in 2 days, 15 inches of it yesterday afternoon. Plenty of tornadoes...trailer killers. I opened the garage a tidge to make a shelter for the wild kitties in the neighborhood. Put out a pan of Tendervittles for them. A few came to visit.

Aw, you do have a heart

Today is the first day in ages that has had no rain.
In Yorkshire a week ago, they had a month's worth of rain in 24 hours.
Hebden Bridge was awash with water which caused inconvenient (and expensive) floods.

Mucho rain here on the east coast of Florida with tornado warnings and alerts aplenty. We're getting rain and wind bands from ol' Deb as she figgers out where she's going next. Now the sun's out for awhile. I'm guessin' that wont last long. ;)

Thanks a lot

You're Welcome.
I have it on good authority that Texas is "God Forsaken". My G'ma was borne and raised in the oil patch. She escaped to Colorado.

Try to imagine Houston after 18 inches of rain! I wouldn't wish a storm on you though. :D

You're talking to spam. :D

Back about 8-10 years ago, a tropical storm went across Houston and then backed up dumping over 20 inches of rain in 24 hours on Houston. From downtown south it was a shallow lake. A bunch of us from up on Lake Livingston took our shallow draft boats down to rescue people trapped in the water.

The national guard was driving their large troupe trucks around with water up to the bed. A fun time was had by all.

Bet it brought out all the snakes too!

That happens from the 4 pm shower in Bangkok every day--cobras.

Maybe Debbie will flush all the pythons out of the everglades and into Tampa?

That would adjust the cat population, and provide good fodder for the Schishuan(?) cafe's.

Too cold for pythons in Tampa.

I guess you haven't seen the new line of python moccasins at the Everglades trading post, have you.

Yikes!!!!

Actually it missed us. South Florida was spared by God (ok we got some wind) while the redneck north was suitably punished.
