I know we're all experts here on the GB, and I would never suggest that any of us would speak about things we don't know a lot about, especially not Sonny "Google-jockey" Limatina. But still, I thought it would be interesting and also probably futile to try and discover what people's actual areas of training, knowledge, expertise and/or deep side-interests were. Many of you actually are experts; Perg knows pharmacology and emergency care, Johnny knows economics and international market evaluation; IndieSnob knows about having a beard. I'd love to know what you know--or even what you don't.
For example, my contribution to this thread might be as follows:
I'm a musician. I used to have day gigs involving writing of various types, including as related to branding, which is the lens through which I still view politics. I have some ongoing additional pursuits related to evolutionary biology, human perception, and critical discourses around music practices/consumption.
I know jack shit about economics beyond beyond the pop/behavioral fad, admit to occasionally getting confused about the debt/deficit distinction, and I know less than jack about most current TV shows, especially reality shows.
Your turn, I hope...
