That horse is running at well under the Triple Crown distances which was that guys point, new thoroughbreds have been unable to run as many of the longer races as the older ones beause of breeding for explosive speed which is essentially what the horse you linked to is doing.
Your horse is running 1200 meters. That's about 700 shorter than the shortest Triple Crown race.

Steeplechasers are big motherfucking horses. And The National is 4 and a half miles over monster fences. Even the Gold Cup is three and a quarter miles.
 
Soda. Used to have cane sugar, now that is a "novelty" with special terms like "throwback" to describe it. High fructose corn syrup, far worse for the body (despite their "sugar is sugar" BS to the contrary) has taken its place. Sugar tariffs and farm subsidies are no small part of this.

Much on this list is accurate. The health nuts have taken over the asylum. Gods help us all.

Totally different kind of hose though. One would assume the breeding hasn't changed much over time.
However the guy was right about Triple Crown horses, they have been bred to run fewer, faster races so we don't see Secretariats or Seabiscuits anymore.
