I'm not here to dampen anything. In the past 36 years, few of my job changes were planned. I was fortunate to always land in a better situation. I never would have found the better deal if the old deal hadn't crashed and burned.

Right now, I have no job.
Mind you, I am one-armed for the next 5 weeks (op on elbow, so no driving, lifting, etc) and because of a fortuitous circumstance I don't actually HAVE to work (gotta love financial security!)... but I am rapidly becoming bored to near death and would give anything to have the rush of a new job.
