Guess I shoulda killed that fucking pooch on my porch with a knife instead of a gun, eh?

If a baby wouldn't get traumatized by being bitten in the face she most certainly wouldn't be traumatized by the spray of canine blood.

On a side note I would have rather used the knife to gut one of you bastards who said I should have been killed for defending my daughter. But first you'd have to crawl out of your hidey hole and survive exposure in sunlight for that to happen.

Stephen Strasburg is off to a sensational start and Bryce Harper made a big splash in his MLB debut, but the biggest hero for the Nationals this season might be an usher named Andre Hawthorne for a courageous act performed away from the stadium.

The Nationals will honor Hawthorne before Tuesday's night game, a team spokesperson told the Washington Post, after he saved kids in his neighborhood from a vicious dog attack.

Hawthorne was returning from the ball park to his home in northeast Washington last week when he saw two large dogs terrorizing the kids, some of whom were forced to flee to the roof of a parked car, WJLA reported.

The children were able to run to safety while Hawthorne confronted the dogs with a knife. The dogs attacked Hawthorne, biting him on the left arm and left hand, and he is receiving rabies shots.

As we can see, these things get press coverage.

Where is yours?

Do what now, LJ?

Are you talking about the dog you claimed to have shot? The one who's owner showed up looking for it that clearly wasn't a stray? The one that had no other complaints against it and was allowed to wander the neighborhood without animal control knowing about it? Or did you just kill another dog?

In my state, there are almost never dog attacks.
We have a law that says any dog that is not properly restrained or contained can be shot if it is anywhere near livestock, even if it is not actively harrassing the livestock. And because this is a farming state, everywhere is near livestock.
Everyone knows this is the law so there's almost never dogs that get out.

LT never shot a dog.

There was nothing in the papers or online.

He's just a played out little midget troll needing attention.

I'd slap him silly if I ever encountered him.

He knows it and is scared shitless.

There's no claim about it - I shot the damned dog for snarling at my wife and baby.

This article I just posted is about wandering dogs that threatened some kids in the street. The primary argument for why people don't believe what I said was that stray dogs don't attack kids. This article is yet another in a long line of incidents that proves STRAY DOGS SOMETIMES DO ATTACK KIDS.

I often regret not living close enough a few Litsters to put them down publicly for having a problem with that. That'll pretty much inspire other people to keep their opinions to themselves about one's right to protect their family.

Some folks on here have a problem with using a gun, because they think a baby would be traumatized by the noise.

It's better to use a knife. The wailing of a dog being sliced open, and all the blood spraying, is so much less traumatic.

Didn't he die from a peanut then rose from the dead like a zombie or was he more Christ-like?

Dude, this fucker could end up eating your brains if he is a zombie. Jesus Christ dude you could be killed by a black midget zombie. How humiliating would that be?

Well anyway, I find it hard to believe that a pansie that got his ass handed to him by a peanut could vanquish a neighbors dog.

I don't have a problem with guns, or with shooting attacking animals- unless they're endangered, and I don't want to have the same fight here that I've had to have with rednecks in RL.

But in your story, you didn't shoot a stray dog for attacking. You shot someone's pet for pissing on your car. There's a giant difference there. That you just don't seem to understand.

His story is fraudulent just like yours dipshit.

So you believe in protecting children from imaginary threats from imaginary dogs, but not from being pre-natally murdered by their own mother?

It's not that the kid would be traumatized so much as you could bust the eardrums. That's a valid fear- one that you should have learned when you were 12 and getting your first hunting permit- that you never EVER fire around children younger then 3 because it could burst their eardrums and because of how underdeveloped they are prior to 3, it could give them permanent hearing damage or even cause them to go deaf.

Look, if your story is true, you handled it poorly.

And that's coming from ME. If I can call you on something, you fucked up.
