Shaving with a straight razor

My wife is a fan of being shaved. She likes being smooth, but I've noticed that when she relaxes and I shave her she gets very aroused. It's ironic that I prefer a more natural look, but I'm not complaining and that's not my question anyway.

I've never been a fan of shaving her with a disposable razor. They don't hug the curves of her labia, the blades clog easily, and there's always stubble or stray hair that escapes me. I am very attentive.

I just discovered some really beautiful straight razors. They're beautiful to look at and I think it would really enhance that intimite moment. I am wondering if anybody here uses one for shaving delicate, intimate areas and how you like it? I would, of course, switch to using one on my face too.

My boyfriend likes to shave me, too. However, I think I would get really squeamish if he tried it with a straight razor. I have always used a safety razor, and the trick is to just pull the skin tight so you can get to it.

My problem with straight razors is that they bring to mind the brutal female circumcision that is practiced in some countries. So, despite all the disadvantages of disposables, I think I'll stick with them.

I'm pretty sure K5 was thinking of a razor blade, not a straight razor, anyway.

Honestly, I'd get someone who's an expert with a straight razor and its accouterments to teach you how to do a proper prep, shave and sharpening. Like a really great barber or tech at a men's grooming place who can teach you how to shave your face at home. If you can do your face well, you should be able to translate those skills to your wife's pubic area easily.

When I was a teen, I went into hospital for minor surgery which required shaving the night before. It was a young, beautiful nurse who shaved my chest with a safety razor and finished off my cock and balls with a straight razor. That cold surgical instrument in her gentle caring hands made a lifelong impression on me. By all means, if your wife wishes to be shaved that way take Sweet Erika's advice and be gentle. I bet you'll both get off on it.
