Appeals Court Takes Professor Obama & Co To School

The OP has drifted so far into senility that he can't even form an opinion on his own C&P thread.

His opinion is obvious enough.

And his thread was informative, as well.

you do realize

REAGAN APPOINTEE

racist

Are you all actually under the impression that Obama is the first president who has ever criticized the Supreme Court?

Obama's the first president to do anything aside from eat apple pie and sing the national anthem. None of them have ever watched basketball or football, only Baseball is good enough for the leader of the free world. They all boycott the Olympics because that gives the impression that America is just another nation and not The Nation on this planet. The most controversial thing a president prior to Obama has ever done was show up late to church. For that reason he was assassinated to save our country the shame of having a less than perfect leader.

It's like you haven't been around the last three years.

Just because he now only utilizes the MeeMie chicken shit method of posting C&Ps without his own opinion, doesn't make anything obvious other than he is now a mindless drone, much like yourself.

though i think the president's comments were less than well-considered, i can't help but chuckle at how thin-skinned the fifth circuit was.

who knew that the president's comments to the press would be considered legal argument by the court?

Obama's lucky that he has been impeached for farting in the White House. That's a terrorist action to gas the capital.

Who knew a Professor of Constitutional law would have forgotten Marbury v Madison?:)

or that the judges would forget stare decisis and the first amendment? :D

(that shit-eating grin is meant to denote the gravity with which i make that observation.)

Says you.

Why don't you try to read and comprehend some of the shared excerpts/articles. You might learn something, or at least add a little objectivity to your bag.

Damn, you're getting to be a quick study.:D

How valid would stare decisis be in the matter of say, Dred Scott?

or some of the early affirmative action cases, for that matter.

but, depending on the breadth of its opinion, the court stands to unravel a lot to commerce clause precedent.

if so, it needs to proudly wear the mantle of an activist court.

I was under the impression that there had been no previous interpretation that forced US citizens to purchase a commerical offering. Am I mistaken?

I heard Obama's comments regarding the health care law. My first thoughts were "how could he say that, he's got to know better than that, that's high school level knowledge".

My second thought was "Politically, if he knows better, then why is he saying this? Is he considering trying to position himself to overturn the Justices if they don't rule the way he wants?"

That would create a Constitutional crisis.

Obozo was never a "professor". He was a merely a guest lecturer, one step above TA. That was before he lost his law license.

I think Obozo might be the least intelligent man to hold the office in modern times. And, I would bet that his college transcripts would prove that to be the case. He uses his arrogance to cover up his ignorance. He relies on his personal prejudices to guide him, the Constitution be damned.

Via Ace. Serious question for appellate lawyers: Is it S.O.P. for judges to introduce comments made outside the courtroom by one of the parties to the litigation in this way? Unless I missed something, the DOJ wasn’t and isn’t arguing Obama’s moronic claim yesterday that the Supremes striking down ObamaCare would be “unprecedented.” It sounds like Judge Smith (a Reagan appointee) was simply honked off at The One’s demagoguery in the Rose Garden and wanted to upbraid him for it:cool:
