A Reminder----Your Government Health Care----It's Coming

I like a bit of Chopin. I wonder if they paid for the rights to use it.

"We want government to stay out of our personal life decisions."

What about other people's personal life decisions?

What about other people's personal life decisions?

That's different because somebody else is paying for that decision.

...or something to that effect.

Government shouldn't play God.

Only God will play God, and that guy over there will interpret.

Ha! The hypocrisy of the right.

The right is so blind. The government is all the way up your health care from your uvula to your rosy red rectum and has been for decades. Most of those things are already in place and the video and the affordable care act is just re-iterating and clarifying those things.

I loved the AARP health care rationing fear. AARP uses United Health Care as their insurance provider. They are the WORST about rationing. So much that is traditionally covered by health insurance is denied to those they cover. People can't move without prior authorization. A co-worker's family member has UHC as their insurance provider and they will not pay for a colonoscopy if anything is found. Our of pocket expense. Mental health? There was no mental health coverage until it was mandated.

When some people don't have health care coverage, all of the rest of us pay in hidden ways. Over and over and over again.

The only way to contain costs is through improving quality of care. Do you know how much money is spent on hospital acquired infections?!? (No, I don't think you know. I don't even think you understand. I don't think you have any idea beyond this fear mongering.) Let them pander to your fear because you have no clue.

There is so much wrong with that video, I won't even continue. Health care policy is one of my personal interests.

Oh, and ACORN has dissolved.

And, for those that can afford it, there's always concierge medicine. It's not going anywhere.

It's almost scary how blinded the right is.

No, it is scary how blinded and closed minded they are...
