I am neither young nor innocent, but relatively new to Lit (but old in forum culture). The General Board seems to have the worst collection of mean-spirited trolls who spend their energies chasing noobs away. You need a little thicker skin first, just to realize at the end of the day, they've done nothing to affect your real life.

You can utilize your ignore option to hide the worthless ones. You can poke them in the eyes with a sharp stick as my wife did a few nights ago (problem is, they seemed to enjoy that).

Roam the other forums where the users are more human, avoid this ghetto called the GB. Just my advice.

What the fuck is a senior member? Is that someone who remembers when you were young and innocent?

A high post count simply means a person has had time to show their personality and it's easier to spot inconsistencies and patterns. People who create fantasy pedigrees have a hard time maintaining the front, year after year. There are long time Lit members who brag about every accomplishment and complain about every tiny inconvenience. Then there is a story about building a house for his wife's inlaws.

Everyone wonders why he never posted a single thing about building permits or contractors, the sort of stuff we see from him every day. Of course, somebody has to point out, a spouse's inlaws are your parents.

In the end, post count counts for little. It's what you post.
