I've been told that marshmellows are going to be the next big thing. You can find all kinds of different favors on them now in the stores.

But I can't pretend to know how they figure what people are going to be wanting before the people know themselves.

Most of modern capitalism isn't about what people want, it's what they can be sold. In today's world 90% of life is marketing.

I don't understand the whole cupcake thing. Is it something I can safely ignore? Because I took the same attitude toward cell phones, and I kind of missed the boat on that one.

I knew a woman who'd made her own marshmallows, and until she told me that, I'd never even given a thought as to what the hell they actually were. But she was a chemist by profession, and a brilliant one. She'd also made her own jelly beans.

I seriously doubt that people are going to give up their cupcakes for marshmallows. Maybe for mallowmars with various flavored marshmellows. But really, you can't have a TV show about marshmallows like you can about cupcakes. I mean, if marshmallows are the next big thing, then I predict we'll see them on cupcakes
