I'm writing a piece from a male POV, and in doing so I overlooked something females might have interest in. So, to-the-point, how thoroughly should a guy's member be detailed? Maybe not every vein, but do you women need to hear the number of inches or can you just go on saying that it's 'thick, hard, and pulsing' and move past it?
It feels so... quantified. "John has a 7" cock." Some people might say "so what?" Some others might roll their eyes and say "Yeah, right, of course he does." In my personal experience these little details can turn off someone from the story entirely or at least pull them out momentarily. I know I've closed off a few stories when a bunch of dudes who all just so happen to have 12" dicks show up at the scene.
Is it alright to just be more subtle than that? To say it's thick or large and leave it there?
