Sorry I have been absent so much lately, busy trying to get a baby's room ready for my first grandchild. I do come on and catch up with all the goings on though :) I lust don't always post. Daddy John - we've all missed you but how exciting - first grandchild! (Once the room is done there will be other things needed to prepare for baby...and then baby will arrive....and then....:eek:) Enjoy! Grand babies are the BEST :rose::kiss::rose::cattail:

Thank you peaches :) I wasn't sure if you even knew who I was. You have quite a fan base here among all the other daddies.....(not that that is in any way a bad thing at all.....just didn't know if you ever noticed me being so busy and all ;) )

I know that there will always be things coming up with the baby......having gone through 3 of my own I know the routine all to well. I do look forward to getting to spoil a baby for a change as opposed to having to be the one who doles out discipline.....much less fun in that context if you know what I mean :p

Hi DaddyJohn! It's so nice to see you again. I'm glad you are doing well. Congratulations on your soon to be born grand baby!! I had trouble sleeping and poked in here....I'm glad I did because I've wondered about you.

On a more RL note - I DO know exactly what you mean about the Grands vs your own. My oldest complained once about a drum set I bought for my youngest grand - said "Mother (in that tone), you'd have KILLED anyone who bought one of us a present like that!" I just smiled and kissed him and said "That's true - but I had to take YOU home with me!" :D I LOVE my grands (they just grow up waaaay too fast!):kiss::heart::devil::kiss:

My ex-GF and I did that with her oldest granddaughter, we bought her a little drum for Christmas one year and her daughter tried to give us that same line. We both told her that this was the perk of being the grandparents and she would live through it.....we did :)

The fan base should be pretty obvious.......just look at all the posts directed at you ;) I did notice that all you baby girls here are having a lot of fun and I hope to be able to join in on that in the near future. I have missed getting to play with the baby girls here.
