I really like this site alot n think ive read most of the good stories on here im into sci fi werewolf n fantasy so was just wonderin if i could get some sugestions on what to read n if you want some good stories hit up my fav authors list

My stories are set in fantasy realms- I'm getting ready for a big were-creature revile. But it's not a wolf.

I wrote a zombie story and a Cthulhu story. Both sucked. Well actually the zombie one wasn't terrible but it'd be a stretch to say it was good. Sorta fun to write. The Cthulhu one is awful.

Obviously a Twilight fan....Stephanie Meyer set a bad example.

Sparkly vampires my ass. And the whole "Dad, I married a vampire and now I'm a vampire, too and my best friend is a werewolf."
"Ok, honey. As long as you're happy."

What the fuck??????

So... I read that first book and it kinda bothered me that no one called Eddie on the whole "pedophile" thing. I couldn't make it through the second one. And I never watched the movies... I'm out of the loop. I'm more the Anne Rice vampires- the hot, gay ones that are manipulative and insane and touching and whatnot. Twilight read to much like an ugly chick's wet dream. I couldn't get behind it. Rice reads like a suppressed homoerotic wet dream. More my style.

Are you saying you wouldn't want your daughter marrying a vampire?

Racist.

Rice is terrible. She had two great books, one mediocre one and the rest were garbage.
I'm saying that if someone tells you they married a vampire and their friend is a werewolf you do more than say "ok."

Eh, I like her. I even read her Jesus shit after she went all born again or whatever. They're better then her kid's books. Every one of those belongs on here- you read them just to jack off. But yeah, Interview was probably the best; I think she got into that racket where she felt that she had to just keep pumping them out, you know?

I really disliked how in the movie they replaced Louis's brother's death with his wife's and cut out all the "brother's keeper" biblical symbolism and all that. But I think that the Twilight series was aiming more toward a female audience- and none of the characters are hot. That's a big selling point for a vampire book/movie. Your main character has to be hot- you make a vampire movie, you cast Tom Cruise, Antonio Bandaras (sp?), and Brad Pitt. Hell, even Bill, from True Blood is pretty hot.

The author made a fortune though- free market has spoken and all that, so I got nothing against her, just not my particular cup o' tea. And yeah, if they were real, I wouldn't have a problem with someone I loved marrying a vampire. Immortality and super strength and all that. But, it hasn't come up. lol.

Yeah I agree, although I would not call her books shitty, I just think she's ok. Plus I don't like the fact she mostly writes about homosexual men, that only be bothered with females whenever they are bored, or don't have shit else to do. So yeah, whatever on Anne Rice. I am more interested in authors such as J.R. Ward, Joey W. Hill, Laura Wright, Gena Showalter, and Roni Loren.
