i had no idea they were that important. do i need to stick with the heavy cream as well? i will post my creamy results.
As far as I'm concerned, ice cream is just frozen ice unless it has heavy cream AND eggs in it. Custard ice cream is the shniz. You can make the other stuff, but you'll just be sitting there after a bowl feeling unsatisfied and unfulfilled, like you got fucked by someone with a two-inch penis. You get my drift.
Pointless posted this thread some time back about red velvet ice cream and I've tried a few times to create a decent version of it. It's tricky to incorporate cake, and have it remain cake like in texture, in ice cream. That's my next big dessert project. We should start an epic sangria level thread about ice cream.
