My guess is they hate themselves for reading it, hate that they got off on it, then transfer that hate to authors they paint because they really have no idea who we really are. I think what they are also transferring is some bitterness that many of them had cheating wives. They read these stories like people can;t help looking at a car accident. Then they use the comments as public platform to spew all that anger.

Although it may seem like it, the hate is not really directed at the author.

Welcome to LW world. Two factions exist in opposition of how the 'loving wife' should be and what has to happen for them to approve of it. One side likes compassion and see forgiveness and getting back together, while the other wants the bitch drawn and quartered. No one wins writing LW stories, so comments and voting are worthless. Just enjoy writing and reading them and ignore the gallery of fools.

The nail on the head, Stella. It's such an amiguous category to write in and there isn't really any set guidelines to what a 'LW' is. Separating them the way you describe, would offer fairer scoring and readers wouldn't bother reading stories that don't appeal to them otherwise.

LW the most nasty volatile category on this site. I agree with the projection theory proposed by LC68. Just so much hate. I wish there was a different cat for TLW's. Not gonna happen.
I believe LW has the highest number of readers too. That speaks volumes I think.
I posted two TLW's there. Why? Because they are Loving, not "Loving" wives. It was the correct category.

As said earlier, a different cat is needed. But not gonna happen.

The trolls don't trash the stories in, "Loving Wives," because they thought they were reading a different kind of story, they know exactly the kind of story is in that category. You could name the category anything you want and it won't make a difference.

As for transferring there anger from their cheating ex-wives to the authors, I don't think that has anything to do with it either. I thoroughly believe it's one thing...ignorance! These are ignorant, stupid people who blame all their problems on the world and this is a chance for them to vent it.

I constantly say I will delete posts that attack me personally, yet it happens time and time again. I've been called every name in the book and even had one death threat...simply because of a fictitious story I wrote.

These people are IGNORNANT beyond words.

Right, Stella, but I forst met you over my thrashing in LW, and that was a story about an unsatisfied wife getting her pleasure, (and her husband's was incidental to hers). But for the readers, it seems all about the hisband, and not just the husband, but the "ome who wears the pants in the house."

Joe, you're right on track...

Every once in awhile you find a great story in LW. I happen to be one of the guys who actually caught his wife cheating on him. I think it's a little cathartic to read stories where the wife gets caught and the wronged hubby goes on to to live a better life as a result.

I am with you in that I believe 100% in fidelity. Unfortunately, the "I saw my wife with another man and my dick got hard" group has a big following. I really wish they would use the fetish category for that crap instead.

If you're interested, I have a story I just posted to LW tonight called, "Road to a Showdown." I think you would like it. It should show up in 3 or 4 days.

You will find loving, married stories in the "erotic coupling" category, especially now that there is a tags function

You'll find stories attempting to be true to "loving wives" in LW too. There are a lot of stories in there. They aren't all the same thing. I've written a couple trying to depict the interseciton of a loving wife and cuckold.

The stories you are looking for exist. Look harder, that's what the descriptions and tags are for. I have read many that are exactly what you are looking for, and in Loving Wives.

Some of the writers in there prefer to let their character's wife sleep around, some do not.

To the others:

Complaining that there are 'no stories that fit the title' or 'the name of that section is confusing' is like saying no 'lesbian seduces a straight girl' stories should not be allowed in the Lesbian Sex category.

To the OP: Maybe people should just write a more interesting pieces?

I don't know what the big deal is about that category, I only had two haters out of fifteen comments plus three e-mails. I pulled a 4.03 in that category with 17k views and 150+ votes. To top it off, I went out of my way to cause hate.

Even if you write a great story, people complain, no matter where you put it, that's how it goes. You cannot expect to please everyone, and some people cannot be pleased. Trying to do so is pure ego. 'Trolls' as you call them, have the right to vote and comment as they please.

I gave voting a chance and got trashed, so I turned it off. One guy even came after me in email--pretty brave behind the anonymity of the internet.

Some say cuckolding is a fetish......I guess, but I agree that maybe LW needs to be split up. I mean what exactly is "Loving Wives - Tales of adventurous married women & their mates." Doesn't say "adventurous men", and it says "mates" as if more than one. I guess some readers think it should be Loving Wives - "Tales of loving women & their husbands." like they're on some dammed boring trip or something.

To me it means women who go outside the married relationship for satisfaction, whether hubby approves or not. But, too many flavors here: cuckolding, polyamorous, swapping, group, bi spouses, triangles, forced sex, domination, bulls, yada yada yada..........

I Google "loving wife" and I get sugar coated bullshit. I think it should be changed to "Hotwives - Tales of adventurous married women & their mates."
