Writing Goal for the Day?

1500 words and it's been painful getting there. My daughter has a work Christmas party that I'm taking her to, so I may just write more while I sit in the car and wait for her. It'll be quieter than here at home.

You're on to me. My daughter goes to voice lessons every week, and I make the supreme sacrifice of driving all the way to the other side of the lake to take her. Since it's so far, I wait for her in the car, and I'd may as well take my laptop, so I won't be bored!

I think I've decided to punt on writing for tonight; I'm kind of stuck and I think I'd best wait for feedback from my beta reader. So I will work on crocheting dinosaurs for PennGirl instead. For some reason, she asked Santa for a red and a pink dinosaur. Guess I'd better get some yarn. And you know what's weird? I made a scarf last week, out of these cartoon character faces, and now I can't find it. WTF? It's like five feet long and PennBoy wants to have it as a wall hanging. I can't believe I can't find this.

I've taken my laptop to my son's clarinet lessons too. I go inside though and sit in the lobby, just waiting for that day that someone asks... what are you working on. lol I was asked that once and spoke the truth, their eyes got wide and they got real quiet.

To get my head on straight, quit thinking of titles, get the muse back, type on the keyboard, without breaking it, and focus on the story on the monitor not the new one that popped into my head. Of course it would help too if I logged off the forum. Oyy!

The little ornament things were found. Looks like PennGirl thought it'd be fun to drop them behind the couch. The scarf is still missing. No, it was not behind the couch.
