Thyri's humble little shack out back

Good - and HoHos seem to have a positive effect on you. I looked them up the last time you spoke about them (ie all the time! :) ) and they look like heart attack material!!!

Yes - you are a harsh judge of your own work. I liked it - I think it did the job it was supposed to do. We'll move on.

Just fucking do better next time! ;)

Have to go to tennis - must admit, the cottage is a little more upscale, but this has an aromatic charm ! :)

Bye for now

*Grins* I'll certainly try. Yeah, we have industrial strength air fresheners. :D Have fun, Fish.

Appearing at Thyri's, I look over at her and smile.

Hello Thyri. How are you today? Anything going on for you?

I've done AutoCad. During High School, I took an IT III (Industrial Technology III) class. We had to design something for our final exams. I designed a World War I tank. Got a B+.

Anyways, have to go.

A half formed story idea.

This would be the classic scenario of an 1840's fur trapper deep in the wilderness. He ends up saving the life of the chief of a local tribe of Indians, and to repay the obligation, the chief offers the trapper his daughter (or at least one of them). The catch is that the fur trader is actually a werewolf/shape shifter. He has sought the lone life of a fur trapper to get away from people and most of civilization.

The second catch could be that the Indian girl is actually a skin walker, and nobody knows it but her and maybe her family. Maybe she's not a wolf when she changes, maybe she's a coyote instead.

UC equation of philosophy: Too much physical, mental, or emotional stress results in increased aggravation of colon lining, which in turn results in inflammation and less efficient colon functioning, ie, increased bodily waste, resulting in increased frequency of bathroom visits.

AKA The more shit you have to deal with= the more shit you have.....to deal with! :D

*Fish thinks the coast is clear so pops his head up and jots it all down*

UC....equation....of...............................................to deal with

There, I got it. I don't know what I got, but I got it.

*Dives back down and out.........*

*sneaks in very quietly, looking about, she slips her arms about Thyri's thighs... because that's what she can reach, and hugs* "Happy Thanks Giving." *and kisses a very lovely elf bottom*

*Giggles at the unexpected feeling of little arms wrapping me in a hug, then reaching down to stroke caressing fingers through her hair.*

And a Happy Thanksgiving day to you too, my newest friend. I can only imagine what kind of a feast a halfling Thanksgiving would include, but I'd bet it's something to experience.

Another story idea

Lost: A woman who has been keeping herself isolated since losing her husband, the love of her life, is talked into taking a kayaking trip along the coast of Oregon/Washington/Alaska (Someplace very wild) with some friends. Of course the idea is to set her up with someone to try to break her self imposed loneliness. She reluctantly agrees to go on the trip, and things are going okay, though she really isn't hitting it off with the guy that her friends picked out to set her up with.

But while trailing a little behind in her kayak, a storm comes up and separates her from her friends drastically. Maybe it ruins her kayak and forces her ashore along a stretch of wilderness, stranding her there. She wanders into the forest, hoping to find a highway or road or some sign of civilization, but get's lost.

Unbeknownst to her, she is being watched by a hermit who lives in these woods. He too has been alone for a long time. Will he help her as a friend? Will he capture her as an intruder in his territory? Could she possibly fall in love with any man other than her husband?

*very sneakily peers over Thyri's shoulder and sighs*

Bloody good idea for a story - lots of scope. Loss. Fear. Guilt. Renewal. I wish I was a machine and could write endlessly as there is always someone up with a good idea.

*nods*

Anyway, good idea....but I have to think about a talking doll. A Fish writing about a doll. Who'da thought!

I was just passing through to say hi. Talk soon.

Bye Thyri

*and as quickly as he appears, he is gone.......*
