I think most men would try to physically protect their lady if someone broke into the house, or confront another guy who was hastling her in public, even if he's bigger. I think its mostly just instinct or a sense of duty. Personally, its something I hope to avoid but if it happens I'm resigned to having to do it. The preferable option is is to have good locks on the doors and to keep pepper spray and a baseball bat by the bed at home, and avoid walking around back alleys or other dangerous areas at night when you're on a date. Simple precautions usually avoid the scenario.

After I worked at the hospital a while my graduate school faculty advisor came by for a visit after I locked his son up. We talked. Dr. R was curious to know what I'd recommend to improve the program. I told him, MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING.

I cant recall one shift that I didnt need to take down a drunk or druggie or teen or manic female. Many of them came in with weapons, including a hand-grenade! After a few 100 such events the thrill is gone, and a fight becomes work. Like changing a flat tire.

This Poll didn't work for me when it comes to choosing just one thing and its about what attracts ME most. My obvious confidence can sometimes come off as aroggance or snobbery, or so I've heard. Its certainly not intended that way, but when two confident people unite its major sparks.

Its still all about that certain balanced connection and trust. I know many whiny, weak women who still have wonderful relationships. How a man can stand that is beyond me but everyone has their match I guess.

Any person who uses fat as an excuse to not get laid or has that be the reason that they can't create a healthy loving relationship has greater issues. Lots of fat people have great lives. Either lose some fat or carry what you insist on keeping with pride.

What I hope to be able to experience is someone who loves me for who I am as I age. There is nothing more adorable than a loving older couple who have been together for many years or found each other later in life. There are SO MANY men here at this site that complain about their wives becoming unattractive or not putting out enough, if at all. I encourage these men to learn more about what it is to be a loving mature spouse. Being a lonely single old lady scares me quite frankly.
