But in all seriousness - the reaction I received when I first posted on lit is a HUGE factor.

I so wish I hadn't deleted those very first photos I took. I deleted them and the original message, but you can tell by the title of the thread - I truly had no concept of whether I was appealing or not. (long story, no need to beat that dead horse )

I know it shouldn't matter what others think. And I know that beauty comes from who we are, not what we look like.

But there is a confidence and glow that comes from knowing others find you attractive. And when someone you love shows you how attractive they find you (note I did not say "tell")? Well - that's a whole other level of radiant.

LOL - I can see the difference in the glow vs radiance in my photos in the thread. The first ones I took? They had neither.
