Is there or has there been a thread for posting ideas for tasks for a sub? I saw a post in a thread about a Dom who was running thin on ideas, so I thought a 'task bank' might be a useful resource on here. Both Doms and subs could post ideas or tasks they found worked really well. What do people think?

My most recently assigned "task" (if you can call it that), was to make sure any dates I have treat me well, and keep being my sweet, kick ass self. Oh - and to breathe through my stress. The one before that was to leave the front door unlocked and get my ass in bed (he came in town unexpectedly and was 20 minutes away LOL).

To the OP - I think FurryFury had mentioned a website several years ago where one could be assigned/complete tasks... hopefully she'll see the thread and comment.

I'm glad that people think that this is a good idea. It just kind of made sense to have a central place for ideas so that people aren't trying to reinvent the wheel.

I'm starting out with a new Dom at the moment and one of my favourite tasks was being given 30 mins to find ten images or videos that appealed to me, either because I wanted to be the woman in them, or try something that was suggested in them or that I just found a turn on. Having such a short time to find them made me react instinctively rather than think through what aspects of myself I was revealing, so my Dom got a very honest assessment of some of my turn ons.

It's useful in two ways: one, he gets a deeper understanding of what makes me tick and two, I have the anticipation of finding out what he's planning to do with his newly gleaned information! Happy days.

The second page mentions an online site you can go to in order to do tasks. Not sure if they are still around or not.

I personally love tasks but don't find them enjoyable for people I don't know or have a connection to. Therefore, after trying some tasks there, I stopped years ago.

in past times, specific requests for brain storming were typically shat upon for the dominant in question being "unoriginal, uncreative, and impersonal."

I very much like the idea of a community brain storm thread such as this, so that individuals need not bear that abuse, whether of not it remains common.

I'm not quite in the mood for brain storming myself just now though, but one thing does spring to mind, from personal experience;

have the pyl use a sharpy to make pretty spiraly patterns on the bottom of PYL's feet. Later; the ink has bled off of PYL's feet and left mysterious little fairie spirals all over the kitchen; get scrubbing!

Though you did remind me of this giraff we had from, I think, the Madagascar originial movie. Anyway, you twisted his tail and he would vibrate. There was just something wrong about that.
