This includes Litsters of all stripes, and, since this is a non-binding "straw" poll of sorts, even those Litizens from other countries.
I don't care what your political views are. Even Fascists like JBJ can participate in this one.
Full disclosure: I back Ron Paul on issues and principle, though I admire Fred Karger for having the balls to run as a Log Cabin Republican. Herman Cain has some strong points, as does Gingrich (though both have some negatives as well- Cain for his Federal Reserve background, Gingrich for his caving in to Clinton on some issues while Speaker).
I despise Bachmann as something of a lunatic and think that Perry is an opportunist (just look at the easy way that he went from an Al Gore Democrat to a George W. Bush Republican and then a Tea Partier over the past twenty years). He also has foot-in-mouth disease (feel your pain, there, Rick, but I'm reining it in, unlike you).
Romney is a Bob Dole kind of Republican, but that still beats Obama. Huntsman is a RINO. Gary Johnson needs to bow out and try for Ron Paul's running mate. Chris Christie will never throw his hat into the ring. (Too bad, he might win.) Santorum is the worst kind of zealot and will lose badly to Bachmann in the contest for the same voting bloc: the religious right.
Thad McCotter is a non-candidate, for all practical purposes. I think that he is just building up an organization for 2016 or 2020.
I will refrain from commenting on the Democrats' options, since they will no doubt not take my advice on suspicion that I am deliberately giving them bad counsel.
