Is this a real thing or are do they simply jump to conclusions based limited evidence with an equal chance of being right or wrong?
In my experience they simply throw shit out there all the time and tend to only remember the guess’s they got right. But hey…I am a sexist after all

it's just selective remembering when things predicted come true while forgetting all the times the predictions didn't come true.

Hmm....I think most people have some sort of intuition...that gut feeling ..

I don't have any idea how often I'm right or wrong. But I will say that almost every time I get an initial impression of someone, I end up being absolutely right.

No, you are not sexist. Its basic human thought patterns to try to forget things that make us look bad and remember what makes us look good; it creates and ego. However, when you attach it to a group rather then an individual, it becomes inflated and empty of everything but air; easily popped. They simply jump to conclusions without even listening to a person finish speaking.

I find that females fall into 2 distinct groups: One group wears the green eye-shades and is able to take a man's measure down to his last penny. Takes them about 15 minutes to know if he's a keeper, redeemable, or fit for the sister in law she hates.

The other group are the gals who marry men like your wife's brother. How they assess men is as obscure as the nativity of Romulus and Remus. Its like theyre under the influence of a powerful loser magnet.

What colour eye-shades do the latter group wear?

These things are important to women y'know

It has forever been the province of women of intelligence to listen, watch and wait, as their inferior physical status relegates them to the gallery of human events.

As such, their 'intuition', is merely the accumulation of knowledge, the assessment of possible alternatives, and a logical progression of future events.

No one ever thought twats were dumb; and we know they are devious.

I would add to my above with the observation that women, a real woman, is attentive and sensitive to the needs of others, primarily her mate and her children, and by extension, others within her social circle.

Being thus concentrated on the well being of others, the woman's 'intuition', is again, that accumulated knowledge and emotional content, that allows, or permits, the 'real' woman, to easily predict the actions and even thoughts of those she is closely related to.

Women truly took upon them second class citizenship when they strove for equality.

Sorry state of affairs, that, eh?

Ladies?

You said you've had three divorces right? Any reason why we should listen to you and your long history of failed relationships? Seems like maybe you don't know so much about women... Or they found out something about you and fled.

One could make that assessment, without any knowledge at all of the circumstances, of course...or one could surmise that an objective, rational person, might, could, and ought to learn from experience and draw conclusions, that shared, might enlighten others, with less and inferior experiences.

Yeah?

A good woman, like a good man, is an asset to all. Man may have logical and rational foresight based on his objective experiences; and woman may have intuitions based on her emotional assessments as well.

But then, you just enjoy name calling and character assassination and have no concern for the Thread topic, so, like, fuck off?

thanks

amicus

heh - amicus is far too superior to stay with second class citizens.

:)..Women, by their very nature, are inferior to the male, in all ways; but they are, 'second class citizens' only if you think they are.

I would rather them not to be involved in the affairs of the community, or the nation, as they function from an emotional, rather than a rational, perspective. Now, that perspective is important and even essential to the whole, but surely should never be in an executive, decision making, position.

Any critter that can bleed for a week out of each month should never be trusted, but rather feared and kept under tight restraint.

no need to backpedal, ami - you have already stated that 'Women truly took upon them second class citizenship when they strove for equality.'
you really couldn't have been clearer.

hey - nice discourse...

amateur here ... not impressed with the level of intellect and basic dignity.

really? raise your game, people...

you sound like an idiot when you speak like Cro-Magnon - spawn.

Your amateur status is confirmed...I, personally, prefer to be addressed as a knuckle dragging Neanderthal, rather than Cro-Magnon; and my level of intellect and basic dignity is measured by my attention to reality and not political correctness, my dear.

However, since you added nothing but invective to the conversation, one can dismiss you and your commentary as a mere hissyfit, predictable to the gender.

Come back when you grow up.

I guess I'm lucky that you weren't on the appointment panel.
Still, might get sent back to the kitchen if I'm not careful or become too emotional!

Figures.

You sure fit the typical enlisted mold. Misogyny will get you nowhere.

The little Latin nickname is cute.

Times, they are a changin' my friend.

Sounds like you will be left in the dust if you choose to cling to such, really - arcane notions about gender.

What is it about the military and sexism?

Now - I do respect what you do/did for our nation - my step-father is 2 p. hearts 3 tours Vietnam/cousin is Seal Team 6/on and on...

but seriously - it is not 1950 any longer.
It is simply unattractive.
