I don't think that's a lesbian thing- I think that's just sexism.
 
Treating someone different is not necessarily sexism. Sexual discrimination maybe.

It has nothing to do with her being a lesbian. In fact, be careful with that. Here in Australia you could find yourself given a warning, under investigation, suspended, fired, or all of the above for even talking about someone's sexual preference.

Discrimination at work? Go through the correct avenues.
It's important to know what your rights are at work.

injuring an employee in their employment

discriminating between one employee and other employees
refusing to employ a prospective employee
discriminating against a prospective employee on the terms and conditions in the offer of employment.

Also, treating someone differently is not necessarily unlawful discrimination. Some different treatment such as general performance management may not be an unlawful discrimination issue. An action is only considered adverse action if it occurs due to one or more of the above attributes (race, sex, age, disability, etc). If this is not the basis of the action, it may not be considered an act of unlawful discrimination.

Some do, some don't.

Some lesbians don't like men particularly, but can still be fair to male employees. Could be, some lesbians might act worse to their female employees, who knows?

Some bosses simply suck as bosses, regardless of what sex they are or what their preferences are.
 
I had a lesbian boss a few years back and we used to have a blast together! She didn't hate men, she just liked women!

Couple of thoughts:

Why do you automatically think that because she's a lesbian that that has anything to do with it? I'm sure there are straight women that don't like you either.

Secondly, after reading through your comments, I've seem where you have repeatedly stated that you are "sexually frustrated", "addicted to porn" and "obsessed with sex". Do you think you just might have been showing this to your boss, as well as the other women you work with? Could it be that what you describe as her "treating you like scum" was due to your own actions or were corrective actions to address your behavior?

I AM sure of one thing - as a minority woman in a leadership role, especially when dealing with a disabled man, she made sure she had well documented grounds for any disciplinary actions.

In other words: Sorry dude, your story ain't sticking together well and kinda smells of homophobic scapegoating in MY mind. Just sayin.

no, we don't all hate men. That's like asking do all _____ hate all _______ (fill in your own blanks). Maybe she as a person did not like you as a person. And since you didn't give examples of how she treated you differently, it's really hard to answer what her motivation may have been.

I agree, I didn't mean she would hate the man because of her orientation, I meant it's not always the case that it's because of the man.

Some people get treated they way they deserve. Just their egos are so inflated they can't understand how come they are not idolized by everyone.
