I love sex and I love food. Let me rephrase that: I really love sex and I really love food. And I know that many people share my enjoyment of both these pleasures.

So I'd like to start a discussion of the many, many ways that we incorporate food in our sex and sex in our food. What's your favorite combination of food and sex? What are some ways to combine the two that you would like to try but haven't?

The only real way food and sex interact in my life is that I think it's super sexy when my boyfriend is cooking :p I could also see us feeding each other or something as kind of a foreplay thing, but besides that, I kind of don't want to use food for sex-related events. I don't like to have bodily excretions involved with my food (yes, I hardly use milk for anything).

I have a saying. "Vegetables are for consumption, not consummation" I use those specific words because it rolls off the tongue better and in the orginal conversation we were talking about people using vegetables for masturbation, but the idea really applies across the board!!

First things that popped into my head, due to the season? Not exactly a food item, per se, but a very memorable summertime pleasure.

Popsicles or more specifically, mango fruit bars. Ice cold on the tongue, kisses, nibbles, the frozen item sliding it's way across my body, raising goosebumps on my flesh, closely followed by a warm mouth.

And - beer. I've never acquired a taste for it myself. You'd never see me with a bottle of beer in my hand..but I LOVE the taste of it on someone else.

I'm sure if I give this a moment more, I'd relate to you a very enjoyable experience while in the kitchen with my ex, when we decided to, together, make sauce. Wine, spices, stirring, the entire experience was erotic and a totally sensory overload. Sight of his hands on the knife, the delicious sent of the ingredients combining... What started out fun and silly ended up as something entirely different.

Your saying reminded me of this story by a long-ago Lit member, in which vegetables play an integral—and intimate—role.

Bill Maher: Would you rather have sex or food?
Anthony Bourdain: It depends. Who's cookin', and who's fuckin'?

Ice and heat are exquisite companions in and out of the bedroom.

Your memory of making sauce together brings to mind my favorite cookbook: Intercourses.

I've never really developed a taste for Anthony Bourdain. Can someone give me the 30-second commercial that will persuade me to like him more?

don't know if this counts... but once when my husband and i were still in an ldr, i was cooking chicken soup just after he arrived at my place - i was standing by the kitchen table separating the meat from the bones of the chicken i had just cooked, when he decided he didn't want to wait till after dinner, and decided to fuck me in the ass right then.

well, we were also both kind stoned at that moment, which made me hungry. and the soup had to get done. so while he was fucking me, i kept removing the meat from the bones, eating some of it and cutting some of it to put into the soup - which in retrospect is a bit strange, but seemed to make sense at the time...

Well, I love sex and I love my sister, but this doesn't mean I feel the need to combine them.

I'm too much an enthusiastic cook to spoil it with something ordinary as sex.

Granted, what does sound reasonable is lying on a harem bed, with one girl feeding you grapes, one girl fanning with a palm leaf and one giving you a blowjob. I have to put this on my bucket list, I don't have a harem bed yet.
(And to feed my humiliation desire the one who loves to give blowjobs most has to do the fanning.)

I agree with you here BS! I hate beer but there's just something about the taste of it when you are kissing someone who's just drank some. MMMMM :D

This is a fabulous story. Thanks for sharing it here.

My ex once got the idea that we should play with some temp play. We didn't have any ice in the house, so he grabbed the ice cream. Now I know all about how sugar in a woman's private areas can cause some nasty reactions, but I so was not thinking about that when it hit me.

I'm very fond of using icy things for play. With a little ingenuity, it's possible to make an ice-dildo using a condom as the mold. :D

Cooking or watching someone cook, eating good food together can be sensual and somehow erotic in itself.
There is a passage in Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow by Peter Hoeg where the mechanic makes fish soup for Smilla, that is often mentioned as an example of this.

Actually incorporating food with sex isn't really my thing though.

I do however remember when a boyfriend and I, very young at the time, were house sitting for my parents. We were having sex one night and had the great idea, that we should get massage oil and pour over each other.
We didn't have any massage oil, but some oil for cooking should work just as well, we thought.
We did find a bottle in the kitchen and didn't realize that the oil had been used in a fondue pot until we had poured a lot over each other and the bath tub.:D

I like to be fed, but it's not really in a sexual way. It's just nice being treated like a pet or a little girl. Sitting in the floor with my hands tied next to someone who was sitting on a couch and being spoon-fed macaroni and cheese was probably my favorite.

This qualifies quite nicely, as your pleasure certainly transcended the experience of merely eating mac and cheese alone.

So after you oiled up, did you both smell like food? Sounds delicious to me.

Thank you for sharing that story...I loved it!

I like its artfulness. The author posted at Lit for a few years several years ago, though under a quite different name. I haven't checked in a long time to see if any of her free contributions to the Lit story side still remain there.

lol yup. There's something primal in the 'see me hunt, gather, and take care of you, woman!' way that's rather hot.

:D

I've not included food in sex much. It usually comes after the sex, when the munchies set in, and we curl up together and eat. It's more bonding than sexy.

That's on my "to do" list. Some one once posted a dildo that was suposed to be like a vampire dick or something like that. You freeze it and it had sparkles in it. I ment to book mark it.

At some point in my marriage (I think in the months prior to my breakdown), we would a whole day in some stage of sexual intimacy. Between actual fucking romps, I'd hop up and fix us some sandwiches. :)

I love the word exquisite.

I've added the book to my wish list, and will start thinking about recipes to which I can enjoy the pine nuts and asparagus. Not necessarily together, of course. Thanks for sharing, MWY.

Oh, definitely. Same thing with drinking tea out of a baby bottle, LOL. I don't really even *like* tea!
