I agree, there should be a thread for proof pics.

Though I'm a Lit "virgin" poster, I had heard about the massive amounts of fakers who try to post on the boards, so I did my best to squash any doubt. =)

This would be a great, anti fake thread...

If it wasn't fake itself.

Consider the text on the "we aren't fake" signs. Clearly computer generated, inconsistently focused and far too sharp...etc.

But it is probably enough that the text is in front of the fingers and hair.

Seriously? I'm not a fake. I wrote with a sharpie on my Hello Kitty pad, and took the photo with my webcam.

Sorry that I have neat handwriting...?

If there are any more doubters, this should clear things up.

I get that there are a lot of fakes on this site,
but it's really discouraging when you put effort into something and get accused of being fake when you're real.

You would be correct about the recent increasing numbers of fake posters. Unlike the others, I thought the hello kittie pad was a cute touch. It wasn't fake. I like your pics and can't wait to see more when Effie shows up too. Keep on posting.

I have to say, I'm a big fan of Hello Kitty.

I totally understand about the fakers, and I see why it's leading to increasing hostility on the AmPic boards.
It must suck to think you're "getting to know" a poster and then find out that they're faking for whatever reason.
That's why I have no hard feelings toward any doubters and I'm ready and willing to "earn my chops," even if it means taking a sharpie to the body. =P

now this is definitely fake, do you see the way the sharpie is closed instead of open, no way this is real.

I had to read the guy questioning you a couple times to realize that he was serious doubting you.
