Ten non-sexual reasons why you love your Master/Mistress/Pet/Slave/or Significant other.

I think this is a great way to show someone how much you love them.

I'll start this off....

I kind of shocked Master coming up with 20!

1) You're very intelligent.
2) You can make me laugh when I need it.
3) You love me for me.
4) You don't try to change me.
5) You're trustworthy.
6) You're loyal and honorable.
7) You're strong in spirit.
8) You love with everything you have.
9) You're compassionate.
10) You're stubborn like I am.
11) You have a creative mind.
12) Your soul is beautiful.
13) Your gentle Domination of me comes from your heart.
14) You're always physically gentle with me.
15) You're devoted to your family.
16) You love History like I do.
17) You always support me in whatever I do.
18) You're always there for me.
19) You're mental connection with me is strong.
20) You're always willing to learn or try something new.

1) We have plenty to talk about
2) When I ramble about veterinary/medical subjects, he's not only interested, but can keep up pretty damned well for someone who hasn't been very educated in those subjects!
3) If I need help, I know he will be there
4) If I don't want help, he's wise enough not to push me too hard to accept it.
5) He doesn't fight my strong independent streak, even though sometimes he struggles to understand its quirks
6) When he can tell I'm getting argumentative just on principle, he's smart enough to walk away instead of keep engaging me
7) He's just contrary enough to keep me interested
8) His puppy-love moments
9) How he gets ridiculously adorable and snuggly when he's drunk and tired
10) His smile and silly faces

First let me share a quote with you that I LOVE (but sorry for not remembering the author's name.)

"Happiness is finding someone who loves you for no reason at all, and then showering that person with reasons." I think it's beautiful. When I reconnected with JD (17 years after our first pseudo-relationship), my love for him hit me like a truck, and I couldn't even come up with a reason to love him - I just DID. Now, 10 months later, I have been showered with reasons:

1. His patience.
2. His absolute focus on what's best for me.
3. His humor.
4. His encouragement.
5. His intelligence.
6. His insane ability to turn me on, even when we're on opposite coasts.
7. His confidence.
8. The fact that in our first conversation he said some of the most meaningful words anyone's ever said to me.
9. His directness.
10. His appreciation and understanding of my submissive nature.

That's how I felt when I listed my reasons as well. I posted them here so Master would have them to look at since he can't always save emails I send to him.

5. The fact that he knows he's tone deaf but still sings to himself or to me when he's happy

6. The fact that he's more than a foot taller than me and that somehow makes me feel like a safe child in his arms

7. The fact that he always holds my hand at the cinema/theatre, all the way through the film or play, non-stop

8. The fact that he understands me even when I'm making no sense

9. Watching him play or snuggle with my little dog makes my heart melt

10. He is the only person I've ever known who 100% accepts me for who I am.

Until you posted that I wasn't sure if that was a reason or not to put in my list. Master came back to me after almost two years of being apart due to an odd situation on his end. It's proof Love triumphs over all.

Seems like all these have been about guys so far! I guess I'll do my part for diversity, and do one about my wonderful wife:

1: Her lovely British accent.
2: Her skill with wordplay, sarcasm and gallows humor.
3: Her complete dedication to correct spelling and grammar.
4:Her complete unwillingness to accept me being anything but my best.
5: Her willingness to lead me on adventures I would otherwise never have undertaken.
6: Her love of music, which she also gifted to me.
7: Whenever she looks at me, it's with a smile.
8: She doesn't avoid talking about my blind eye. In fact, she teases me mercilessly about it.
9: She can always, always make me laugh.
10: She can cook like a demon.
And oh look, I guess I'm going over too:
11: She loves me, no matter what, and we fit together perfectly.
12: She rescued me from myself. More accurately, from depression.
