I'm Looking for Stories Empasizing Erotic Mind Games

I frankly hate hard core pornography, and don't care much for softcore. BDSM has a certain appeal, but it's most too burlesque, and formalized, why is distasteful. I'm not looking for vulgar descriptions of the sex act, coupled with crude terminology, but rather everything else.

I don't know how to find what I'm looking for, though, because I can't think of any terminology reflecting what I seek.

Any ideas on what I'm asking for?

There is a Mind control category but I gather that's not what you're after. Are you looking for more like role playing?

No--not at all! I'm talking psychological eroticism primarily. The idea of BDSM that pain equals pleasure, appeals, but all those leather motifs and the like are nauseating. Love is cruel, but the burlesque themes make it all nauseatingly ridiculous.

I s there a category of BDSM without all the assumptions that waxes and candles are inherently erotic? I mean, yes, they can be, on context, but that's seldom appreciated, in my experience.

MInd control is similar to Bdsm, and tends be a bit classier, but it seems not as popular, online, and I wish I knew where to find more.

Hmmm. So you're looking for some sort of Dom/sub themes, but without the B/D or S/M aspects? Sorry -- this is totally not my scene, so it's a bit of the blind leading the blind here. ;)

You could try the Mind Control or BDSM categories, and you could try putting some search terms into the site search engine. For the categories, I'm afraid it would be trial and error, though. A lot of the BDSM, obviously, is going to involve leather, whips, chains, etc. Mind Control, not that I've read a lot, seems to range from blackmail to quasi-sf/f ideas of drugging, telepathy, etc.

Wish I could help more.

Maybe the "Karen Naked In School" story? They can't be found on Literotica due to the age-limit issue, so you'll have to go elsewhere to read them, but they may suit you.

Panthergirl's "Darla's Games Day" and Sabineteas' "Sabine at School" might both, albeit quite explicit, be somewhat up the desired alley. They are both centered around girls with an exhibitionistic streak who let themselves get manipulated into increasingly daring adventures.

There a place online for some erotic mind control stories, and they have had some good ones. DOminance and submission isn't even the right phrase to describe what I seek, because it smacks of role playing, and that's silly in and of itself. In story after story, the submissive likes submitting, and where's the fun? If the victim is cleverly outmaneuvered into submissiion, but isn't altogether liking it, well, you've got a story I'm piqued with, because it's predator-prey, and that's closer to the truth. Lovers do things for lovers they don't altogether want, and that's what makes things interesting. One of the two has to take the lead, and if there's genuine equality in the relationship, there's nothing erotic in it, is there?

I prefer masculinity on top, but if it's a woman seducer, I can go with that too, but attitude must be king. Sex drive is about craving the other, not necessarily wanting them. It takes two to tango, but not before exactlng a heady price for giving in to your own instinctual needs.

Iliked works by somebody named Alan Aldiss, and his harem fiction, but not too many others (you can look him up). I guess there aren't too many who are turned on by sheer power, but he got it like no one else.

Whips are fine, but you've just got to know why you're doing it.

Okay, so it sounds like you're more into non-consent and reluctance? Or maybe even the alpha males so prevalent in nonhuman?

Honestly, I like equality in the relationships - to me, as each character learns about the other and tries to teach or learn, that can be erotic. I have little liking for Dom/sub, etc., and I think it's in large part b/c I can't remember myself being involved on either end of that.

At this point, I'd suggest you look at the non-con category.

I've never looked into non-consent, because to me, rape is beyond the pale, and that holds no interest for me. I like 9 1/2 Weeks, stuff though, where he keeps pushing the envelop of where she's willing, and ultimately overdoes it, but that's certainly not rape.

What does non-consent mean, anyhow? I've never really thought about it.

I don't care for non-con myself, but I've read a few and can tell you that a number of stories end up with the woman liking it. Which, I think, is utter fantasy. Some of them are role-playing type fantasies with the reveal at the end that the "attacker" is the husband/boyfriend/whatever.

There are blackmail stories as well -- a woman will have sex with her boss (or her office) to retain her job, her husband's job, etc.

It's a tough category b/c it's "non-consent" which would to me mean "rape," and also "reluctance" which would seem more like someone who resists at first, and then possibly or potentially enjoys it eventually.

Maybe you'll have to write the stories you want to read to inspire others. :)

You know -- I just thought of some you might like. Try Jaymal's stories.

For the second time in as many days I find myself suggesting Varian P. Not sure if the stories she has on Lit. hits what you indicate you're looking for, but an e-book she has out under the name Varian Krylov, Hurt, certainly seems to.

Precisely! It doesn't ring true, and that drives me crazy. Blackmail makes more sense, but the characters seem to be pretty masochistic, taking the fun out of it. 9 1/2 Weeks was real because Elizabeth never was fetishistic in her impulses, and that made her real.

Pornography is too fictitious for me to stand. Yes, there's some that's too, uh real, but they don't capture the attraction, and if so, then there's no point to read them, is there?

You know, I really do think you should try Jaymal's stuff. Some is more light-hearted, like his mindfuck stories, but his Nailing Neely Jordan sounds more like what you're looking for (I haven't read it myself; just going by the taglines and what he told me about it).

Try "The Chess Game" by urbanslut. I'll add a link tomorrow. Too many scotches tonight to accomplish anything so technical.

I think noncon works better for gay (and maybe lesbian, I would think). The whole "just was in denial" avenue.

Old thread is old,
but from your descriptions I think I can recommend you another story.

It's `Cow’s Bargain', on mcstories.
This is a fetish story, which might not be yours, but I think it's written beautifully.
Subtle mc and D/s with the subject in the know, not of the "you're now hypnotised" variety.
I found it refreshing.

Personally, I like the reluctance angle in stories. To me, it adds a bit of reality and makes a story more interesting (if it's used correctly). I do agree that it's less realistic when the person (usually the woman) ends up enjoying it in the end, which seems to be the case most of the time. To me, the reluctance stories are best when there's a gradual push into things that one of the people normally wouldn't do.
