Hi CORBAL. I'm (relatively) okay - finally got back on my writing deadline. Anyone want a funny story?
For months, due to major issues (deaths, illness, computer crash - which happened again 2 weeks back) I had missed deadlines, something I'd never done in 4+ years. Last month, I began nearing the right deadline. THIS month, I made it and had all 25 stories done on Monday.
By Thursday, I hadn't heard from my publishers and sent an E-Mail to see if they'd got the stories & invoice. Nope. ~sigh~ I send them again and this time, all's okay.
EXCEPT ...
They are submitted through an on-line file-sharing system. At ANY time, my Editor / Liason can check the folder to see what the contents are. Although she can't remove or edit 'em until I invite her, she can see what's there. Does she think to do this? Nope.
