Police: Teacher Caught Walking Halls Naked

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -- An elementary school teacher who walked down the halls naked would have faced more trouble if students had been present, Morrow police said.

Harlan Porter, 31, was arrested and faces a public indecency charge. A Clayton County judge recently found probable cause to move the case forward.

Morrow police said they were called to B.C. Haynie Elementary School because of complaints about a naked employee walking down the hallway right after school let out."

One of the coaches saw him in the hallway completely nude and escorted him to the teacher's lounge," Capt. James Calloway said.

There were a couple of teachers in my high school that I'd have liked to have seen naked...

that article fails to mention the fact that he has been diagnosed as a schizophrenic.

Re: Hi

Are wages for teachers so low that they can't afford clothes anymore?

Damm these credit crunching times.

Glad that didn't disqualify him from the elementary school classroom

it may well have been manageable at the time. he probably only freaked out because he was losing his job. who knows? there really isn't enough info to pass judgement. just be glad he waited until the kids were gone.

Small favors and all that.

yes, especially for him since he's only getting a public indecency charge instead of getting treated like a kiddy fiddler. of course, i think it's reasonable to assume that he probably shouldn't be around other peoples kids anymore if he's that fragile.

Likely, and probably for the best.

We moved around a lot when I was elementary school-aged. I had this one crazyassed male 5th grade teacher for a bit. When we (as a class) got rowdy, he'd threaten to tell us all about the time he worked at a factory that made hot dogs.

He'd start with, "Settle down or else I'll tell you all about the intestines involved in making hot dogs." Of course we'd all go ewww and shup. When that got tired he would threaten us with, "Not only are intestines involved, but they also use such parts as..." Once again, we'd plug our ears and go ewwwww and shup.

But we were on to his game and would goad him after a while. "Yeah yeah, that's all you got?"

So that final day, it was raining outside so no outside recess, the room gave him hell and he shouted, "Knock it off unless you want to see MY hot dog!!!!" and then he tugged at the zipper on his slacks. Next day and for the following week we had a sub. I didn't report him cuz I kinda wanted to see his hot dog. But SOMEbody did.

True story.

As soon as I saw who started this thread, I knew that when I clicked the link it would be news about a black man.

Cade is such an obvious loser.

I'm not sure this is against the rules at my school.

I left my staff handbook in my locker.
