Ummm...I gotta disagree with you there. I have done ATM more than a few times and have never gotten sick from it. I'm talking about stomach illness as you describe - not STI - but that has never happened to me.

However, for the OP - yes, you can get STIs from unprotected anal AND unprotected oral. You do have to use protection EVERY time! Go get tested and make sure you're safe.

I wouldn't say extreme risk. E coli, for the most part, stays way up in the intestine, further than you could reach without a medical device. Yes, it's possible that you could get sick, but other than the STD/HIV risk from anal, you're probably safer going ass to mouth than french kissing. There are risks to any sexual activity, but they aren't as high as some people would like you to think. Of course, I'd still advise caution, anyway.
