Why did you choose that one? Most of the people here who have responded to your inquiry have stated that they "ignore" it out of convenience. That was MY reason - laziness. Yes, I think I can speak for everyone(except Rory ) when I say we don't come onto the internet to be anti-racist champions. Least of all on Literotica.

It's not just a matter of not caring or that we think it's funny or cute, that's not it at all. Racism is horrible. But it's not worth it to me, personally, to argue with and call out every single racist poster here especially when 80% of those people are trolls or morons. They're either too dumb to even get the point or they're saying that shit in order to get a response, not because it's what they actually believe. The other percentage of actually normal posters who otherwise seem sane and reasonable are put on ignore. I don't know them and I don't owe them anything, least of all my time and energy to "save" them or punish them. I'm nobodies daddy and I come here to fap and be entertained. Anything that doesn't fit into those two categories on this site is not worth my attention.

It would be different if I couldn't ignore them at all and was forced to interact with them, but I'm not.

actually, i do.
in my area alone, we have several asian restaurants that will not hire anyone other than their own race, even though we live in a multicultural society.
i have also been to several countries that actively block any skilled migration because they do not want people of other race taking the jobs of their race (and the glaringly obvious one that's been in the news lately is Japan.)

mind you, i also know several non-white people who walk around all day moaning about white-promoted racism. they used to be friends of mine, till i figured out they were always going to attack me because of the colour i was born.

Personally I'm fed up with the whole race issue. I'm a mix of Native American and some European. My wife is Native American and French. We are constantly dealing with racial issues but it has nothing to do with what is being said, rather what is being done. Native Americans have been slammed to the bottom of the heap for centuries and yet all the two of us hear about is how bad the African-Americans and Hispanics have it.

White racism? Really? I look white and I catch hell about it all the time. I really do. If I say something out of line towards any other minority, I'm a racist. When someone calls me a cracker, whitie, or whatever the name de jour is, they are only defending themselves.

I was going somewhere with all of this but now I'm just annoyed again. Once people get over the whole color/race/ethnicity thing, we might have a human race that's worth a shit. Until then, stop bitching about how bad this color or that color has it. Look out your window and remember that all the U.S. soil used to be occupied by someone else.

For my part~racism is expected. In the real world as well as here. I am of mixed ethnicities and I have heard every thing from "High yella bitch, zebra, cracker friendly" (from those of the darker persuasion) to "Zebra, nigger" (from those of the paler). It proves nothing except that people devolve into childhood when they have nothing of value to say.

I choose to ignore it here. The people who have these opinions on the net can not harm me and do not matter to my sense of self. In the real world, things have been said, done, reacted to and it has changed nothing. I am still a mix that doesn't really fit either place and I no longer care to try and fit. It is NOT my job to fix the world. It is my job to raise my children to NOT see color, to NOT care about ethnic backgrounds...and I have done that.

To ignore it is NOT to tolerate it. Especially if one has battled that particular battle for most of their life. To live by example, that is far better and much healthier. That is what I choose to do.
