Maybe I'm missing your point, but it seems to me that all you're trying to do is tar brush the majority of Americans (white Americans) as racists because they believe in free speech.

I have to admit (yeah I'm a little strange) that I regard Racism as a human defect.

I come from a racist, prejudgemental, hypocritical family home.

I notice early in life that all three pointed in all directions and that whatever a person of a different race was accused of, it seemed to be a different case when accuser did it.

And being a Christian I realize that all humans are nowhere near perfect and can't be down here.

To disprove my statement you have to do one of two things. Demonstrate that other general interest websites tolerate the kind of blatant racism that is allowed here and they are operated by non-Whites and/or the people that operate this website are non-White.

Why does the question bother you? Here's another one. Why do White people think that "ignoring" blatant racism is a viable solution to racism or racist hate speech? I don't know of one civil rights or human rights advocates or organizations promote the idea of ignoring racism.
