Sports are great for kids I just wish the stupid parents would stay home. I played both baseball and football for 14 years and I saw all kids of crazy shit. I've seen parents fight each other, fight the cops, get maced, attack coaches etc. I've even gotten pelted with bottles and other bits of trash. Its nuts.

Today I was at my boys Futsol game. There was a Dad who's daughter was playing keeper for the other team. (In indoor soccer they mix the sexes of the kids if there aren't enough teams)

Anyways, he was a Douche. Yelling and screaming, jumping her ass if she made a mistake, so on and so forth. Well, my old man started getting really pissy about the situation because he was the lucky fucker sitting next to the douchebag dad.

I told the old man to move but he put on his pig head and was like 'no, fuck that and fuck him.' sigh* Tis the reason we get along so well. :rolleyes: I left it alone and just waited for the inevitable.

Sure enough moments later they are in a fuck you match. In eachothers face, the whole 9. Me, being me......and standing toe to toe with both of them got in between them and managed to get nailed. And when I say nailed.......nods* I got jawed.

Now, I know when you stand between two grown men you're asking for it. I was trying to calm the fuckers down and was the product of bad aim. I almost got them chilled but then it got flamed when he called me a cunt. Sigh* the white knight...... It ended there. But seriously, WTF?!?

Now, what I want to know is when you see these parents acting this way what do you do? Sit and be quiet? Speak up? How do you handle these situations? I noticed everyone rolling their eyes at him but no one said a word. People moved away....the guy was an asshat. But, you know how it ends with guys like that. There's only one way to shut them up......a foot in the mouth, right? :rolleyes:

What really should have happened was more people stand up and tell him to shut up. When it's just one person against he can protest, plus demonstrate what a badass he is. If 5 guys had stood and told him to shut it, he would've rethought is behaviour.

I'm glad you guys stood up to him. He may not have thought too much at the time. But hopefully he's thought about his behaviour after he cooled down.

Hey, Corbs...I used to coach PeeWee cheerleading for the hometown football team...little girls under age 8. After one of the parents punched me, the organization got the parent (the mother of one of my cheerleaders, btw) banned from the field forever. I agreed to let the child stay on the squad if her grandmother brought her to the field. We actually had the police come to the football field before every game to ensure the mama-bitch wasn't in attendance. Sometimes I still think parents should have to be granted a license to procreate.

I'm sure the daughter was thrilled by his behavior as well. So sorry you got caught in the crossfire. Karma, thankfully, is a wicked bitch, and she WILL have her way.
