Maybe you could write a part two, where the aphrodisiac gets loose in the building, and everybody gets affected!

I can understand why you'd be upset if someone is really marking down all your stories, but it's a risk we all take posting on here. At least it's not a vitriolic attack against you personally, something that the trolls on here do sometimes do.

There's nothing virtuous about only ever marking 5 stars. If one does that, how is one to differentiate between the OK, the good and the truly excellent?

P.S. I'm not taking sides, just throwing in my own opinion, for what it's worth.

Thanks! I tried to inject a touch of humour (with the note taking and such). One can't take sex 100% seriously. All that grunting and squelching and silly faces... you can't help but grin, sometimes.

Since this is a SUPPORT thread, I'm supporting the SuperHeroRalph in the fact that he PM'd Laurel. I think it was the right thing to do.

I applaud him/her for all the effort he/she has put into supporting the Valentine Contest. No one deserves to be bashed and bullied by fellow authors.

I was brought up to not say anything if you don't have anything nice to say. Silence speaks volumes over childness ranting.

Yet, if I take the time to read a story, I leave a 5 vote, which is what I did when I had my story highlight/review thread under Andtheend. I was bashed for having that thread, until I had to stop highlighting stories of new writers.

Yet, in the 4 years I've written here, I have never attacked another writers' work, unless attacked first. Oh, yeah, my detractors will spin that I'm the one. I'm not. I'm too busy writing my stories to follow all that goes on here.

Now PrincessErin returns to the board and leaves comments on my stories that they are bad and that they are all the same. Of course my stories aren't bad and none of them read the same. More importantly what does that say about this woman?

You initiated the andtheend review thread to attack the work of others (you did so out of the blue for Princess Erin's stories--and mine as well) and to plump up the stories you were writing yourself under alts that you were denying were your alts at that time. (You subsequently owned up to them when no one believed you--well, no one but Scouries. ). Everyone who posted on your running this review thread (including me) said it was a good idea. They didn't object to the reviewing, they objected to your nasty use of the reviewing. And they mostly just ignored it, which is why you stopped running it. You posted to be provovactive and to attack and no one was biting, so you stopped posting.

You certainly have attacked the stories and postings of others first. That's what you did on Princess Erin, starting a couple of years. And now you're all surprised it's come back to bite you in the ass. No one here as is specifically nasty about other writers here as you are. It's all right there in the forum records.

From what I can see, PE is going through the whole list of contest stories and commenting. That's what those on this thread are encouraging her to do. It's not really her fault you've submitted so many stories or that she comparatively, in her opinion, hasn't thought what she's read are as good as the others she is reading (assuming she's leaving better comments on the other stories.).

Grow up and live what you yourself created, Freddie. (But you won't, will, you? We're in for a couple of more rounds of your lies and whining, aren't we?)

How is that even a fetish story? Can that story be any shorter? Yet, I'll give her credit, that was one of her better stories. Give her time. Her stories get worse.

I've been pushing for longer stories in the Survivor contest, 3,000 words. They won't go for that. They'd rather have a writer like PrincessErin write 300, 1,000 word stories, 300,000 words.

I do that in two theme contests.

To be crass for a moment...I don't shit where I eat. I won't allow myself to get embroiled in the pettiness and delusions and megalomania that I've seen on these forums because I love Literotica. If I allowed myself to be put off by mean spirited forum posts, I might not post anymore. And that is what I call counterproductive.

In truth, the negativity got to me for a while and I withdrew posting. I posted almost nothing on the last couple of contest threads. It just got too annoying. But I came to the conclusion that the VAST MAJORITY of authors/forum posters on here are just nice, fun people who aren't out to TAKE OVER THE WORLD (think Pinky and the Brain) or at least Literotica. LOL

The way I see it, Sr, (I've never been sure what to call you, so forgive me if that's not it) there are three types of Lit folk. There are those who come here just for fun, write for a hobby and post here for positive social interaction. The second type is comprised of the authors who make some or all of their living with their work and come here to both promote and/or enjoy being among other writerly types. There is a third type, but we all know who they are and there's no need to name names or point fingers. We'll just say that they aren't here for fun or anything positive. Most of that type have a stick and a pile of poop and they are here to STIR IT UP!

But sucked into a game? Heavens no. No one who's been on these forums for longer than a minute is at all UNCLEAR about the games going on.
