If a foreign country sent a nuke our way purely based on seeing this show, I can't say I'd blame them.

On Wednesday's episode of the TLC reality show, 5-year-old Alexis gets her eyebrows waxed. And by the way she screams, it's clear she's had it done before -- with awful results.

"She had a bad experience ... the wax was way too hot, and it actually ripped off her skin," her mom explained on the show. "So she's been kinda terrified since then."

Why would a guy be watching that program anyway unless he was a pedo or faggot! I guess we know why you watched it.

1. I read it in the news. Hence the link.
2. Questions require a question mark.
3. Next.

I didn't open your link. I didn't have to...
The pressure that robs those little girls of their childhood is wrong. And I speak as a mother who's child did national TV commercials. Never encountered The Lil' Miss type stuff but what I did see was pretty sad...

I've never watched it but the commercials I've seen a few times creep me out. Always reminds me of a film I really love though, Little Miss Sunshine.

What's your daughter doing up there?
She's kickin ass.

Toddlers & Tiaras is a horrible show. Childhood beauty pageants are a horrible thing in general, but sticking cameras into the mix only makes it worse...

Kids shouldn't be treated like show ponies.

Sammy, I too am outraged by this show to the point where I had considered starting a thread here. I assure you I am neither a faggot nor a pedophile.

It's good to know some people still are outraged by some of the garbage on TV, and in society in general.

Another outraged person singing in. I knew a mother like this. she had her poor child in every pageant she could get her in. Kid had a room full of Terra's a tTrophies, What she didn't have was a childhood.

It looks like the person that made this thread is a pedo. I don't think this stuff is allowed on this forum. Did anyone flag this post yet?

It's all about selfish mothers exploiting their daughters in order to satisfy their own egos.

fuck me, we actually agree on something.

It's so cool watching the expression on my wifes face every time I tell her "no, I'm not going to the shop right now..T&T is coming on"

that's funny and 'ewuuuuuu' at the same time.

I find it absolutely repulsive. the mothers are sick and the kids just have to be fucked up.

That is special, but I love the show.

You're pathetic, and a growing chorus of Americans agree.

Even JonBenet's dad.

Vanessa Williams rips 'Toddlers & Tiaras'

By Alexis L. Loinaz, E! Online

Maybe now would be a good time for the folks behind "Toddlers & Tiaras" to wish for world peace. The controversial show is no stranger to coming under fire for its provocative presentation of young girls, having been slammed by everyone from JonBenet Ramsey's father to media outlets who've labeled its contestants as "prosti-tots."

But now, no less than former Miss America Vanessa Williams has come forward to criticize the show, and she's got some ugly things to say about "T&T's" treatment of its pretty little ladies ...

In an upcoming episode of Anderson Cooper's "Anderson," the host asks the erstwhile "Desperate Housewives" star whether she thinks the kids are being pushed into appearing on the show, where they're often decked out in racy getups and made to perform suggestive numbers.

"I think they don't know what they are doing," Williams says. "But when the child is screaming and saying, 'I don't want to do this, I don't feel like doing it'-- when they are using special juice to get them hyped..."

"Go-go juice," Cooper chimes in, referring to a supposed mix of Mountain Dew and 7UP that parents serve the girls to get them all hyped up.

"Yeah, that's not my world," Williams continues, "and I would never have my kids do that."

In 1983, Williams, who now has four children, made history by becoming the first black woman to be crowned Miss America but was dethroned after salacious nude photos of her surfaced. She recently published a memoir, "You Have No Idea," in which she revealed that she had been molested when she was 10 years old and underwent an abortion in high school.

Williams joins the growing chorus of "Toddlers & Tiaras" detractors. In March, JonBent's Ramsey's father, John Ramsey, called the show "very bizarre" and said he regretted letting his late daughter compete in child beauty pageants.

I read the recaps on tvgasm. it's worth the show being on for that by itself.

*thinks about his mother*
*shudders*

Penis, I don't think that I've ever thanked you for saving me from that terrible fate. I'm gonna go over to the S&M section and thank you in explicit detail now.
