Very true...when I have to buy or provide lingerie for a photo session (if the shoot client wasn't the clothing company, wardrobe is never provided) bra fitting drives me crazy. I could have two models on set, both a measured 34C, the same bra might fit one perfectly - but not the other at all!!

Over time, I've learned (mostly through my assistants and make-up/stylists who have almost always been women) tricks to make them work well enough for the session. Still, it was a real pain in the arse! And you learn about the different manufacturers; for example, it's been my experience that most VS C cup bras are comparable to D cups for other labels.

Well I'm in the Army Reserve, on my 4th deployment. I live in Houston and was stationed at Ft. Hood for the last 2 years of my active duty tour. I've been in the Reserves for the last 15 years. I am trying to enjoy the 15 days of leave but dealing with civilians is trying my nerves. I imagine it's going to be a bit of a change reacclimating to civilian life when my unit finally gets back but I've been through it all before. No worries I guess. Happy New Year to everyone!

So sorry I don't have time to respond to the individual posts right now. There's just so much going on here.

I don't do resolutions. But in honor of the new developments in my life, I am picking a theme for 2011 - one that will fill the void(s) that I've been missing for too long.

So, for me, 2011's theme is:

Laugh. Love. Live.

(It had to be short, I had it engraved on my new iPod Nano that I bought myself for the New Year)


I chose that order because I love to laugh. And while you can laugh without love, I don't believe you can love without laughter. And if you don't have laughter and love in your life - you aren't really living.

So, there's my champagne philosophy for tonight.

I'm off to celebrate. Hope everyone stays safe tonight and has a great start to 2011!
